Hello everyone, is anybody able to step up and organise/plan the Trick or Treat please.

I didn't mean to get things stirred up. I just felt like there were two different groups with different info being shared and this was going to lead to people missing something. I realize that FB is a more consistent means of communication for some, but it is not for all. As someone else mentioned, these groups started on the Boards but it seems that this has now become the primitive method...which is unfortunate for those of us that love the Boards.. My family has been on other Disney cruises and have participated in the group activities, but this was not feeling like it has before. I am very excited about the cruise and just don't want to feel left out or like we missed something.

I realize I am on the lists that I want to be(FE, roll call) but it seems like every time there is a change, we have to respond again...and with more changes looming, I was anticipating having to respond again.

Please rest assured you did not stir anything up, hopefully the communication on both groups will be more consistent so nobody misses out on anything. As of now the FE is still happening, as is the Roaming Mickey. cool1:

Hypocrites? Is that what your saying? I don't understand your reference... Please calm down and try to rationalize before you post. It would go a long way in mending fences.

Hello, everyone, just a quick update, Maggi Bottom (travoria) has offered to take over the organisation of the TOT, yippee, with the help of fellow cruisers things are looking up again

Please step away, far away, and STAY away! I am sorry to have to say this but really, how many times have you dramatically said you were done/gone/canceling your trip. Your daughter's heart was never broken was it because you NEVER cancelled your trip? Honestly I don't know if this is an adult posting here and on FB or the 5yo DD with the way you've acted and reacted to everything. A DCL cruise group is not a dictatorship and no good leader hovers, quotes CS like gospel (9 times out of 10 you can call back in 5 minutes with the same question and get a completely different answer!), and most of all, good leaders do not have tantrums!! Good leaders LEAD, they do not HERD!

The name calling and tantrums need to stop! Please for you and your family's sake, stop making a spectacle. So many of us see no one here taking shots at you and calling you names yet you flip out and flail your arms in the sky trying to swat a unicorn that nobody but you can see! Please let us be in peace here so we can enjoy our cruise and the great new people we want to meet in just a few months! Please!!!!

As one who posts on FB, I never thought about us at two separate groups. I have been lurking on disboards for years, and was first inspired to go on a Halloween cruise after reading Ron's trip report. I believe we are all connected through our love for Disney. Wishing each and everyone a Happy Easter.

Ya know, for people new to 'Disboards' and the entire DCL cruise industry, the example your setting is kinda sorta childish. I mean, are you going on a cruise for you to control, or have fun? Do you have a NEED for friends before hand? I just don't understand the drama.

We are looking at cruising on Halloween, yet may change to the Wonder so we don't have to worry about drama. We as a family, would like to just have fun and enjoy ourselves.

Personally I think all this negativity needs to stop, it seems it moved from Facebook to here. I get that everyone is annoyed but really adding fuel to the fire keeps it burning!!!

I hope this group can sort this out and regain the focus of what we've all signed up for, ' I dream of a fantasy filled with magic and wonder'

Hi everyone! I'm excited & honored to be working on the Trick or Treat event for our cruise!!!! This is not my first Disney Cruise but it is my first one joining a group and doing FE. I have already chatted on Facebook with many of you but I am aware DIS is the place to go if I'm going to reach you ALL and make this a HUGE success. Our family LOVES Halloween and I want this to be FUN for everyone! I know you don't know me but I tell you this...if I organize it you all better sign up and get your spooky on! BOO! Only 3 rules 1)No grumpy Trick-or-Treater's allowed (unless you actually dress up as grumpy) 2) No costume no candy (TP mummies count as a costume & no packing required LOL) 3) Poison apples (aka Apple Martinis) can bribe me. Can't wait to meet you all and your wonderful families.

I choose EAT…CANDY…lots and lots of CANDY! Are you all ready to Trick or Treat on the Fantasy. Well pack your white sheets and get ready for a GHOULLLLLL time. Ok…bad pun.

I'm gonna need lots of happy, excited, not so scary helpers to pull this off. So, watch for a a post on volunteering. Lots of ways to be a part of the success of this event the kids will remember FOREVER! Are you EXCITED!! Whoop Whoop!

would love to have a chance for a meet & greet first day for the kids. Sooner the meet and get the "awkward" hellos out of the way the better. Mine are in 2 different clubs this cruise so that would give them day one new friends to hang with.

I have to say that I agree with Sarah. Every negative comment just bates "her". Personally, I'm going to "Let it go" (yep, just went there) and ignore from now on. And I will not keep coming back with comments after I have just said I wouldn't. Scouts honor (even if I am seething - that is what wine is for!).

Thank you to everyone who has stepped up to help out with FE and ToT! I was worried it would all fall apart there for a minute!

Anyway, I understand the possible desire/need to split the FE group, but I just want to throw in my 2 cents. I feel in the spirit of collaboration and cohesion, that splitting between the Dis and FB is not the proper way to go - it seems a bit divisive. I have never been a part of this process before, but I'm sure others with experience will know the best way and Sarah will make that determination based on her knowledge and feedback from the group when the time is right.

Here's to hoping the drama is behind us. I'm so excited to be taking our boys on such a magical trip with such great people!

So.... on a lighter note! Sooooo stinkin' excited because we booked our flights to MCO last night!!! Price came down on the the direct flight I was eyeing on United! Now the question is... what should we do on Friday (we get in late Thurs night)? Should we be crazy and hit Harry Potter or MK and the evening party, or... should we take it easy and hit the space center and the liquor store??? Suggestions, please!!!
