Hi- ... This is our first Disney cruise and we want to make the most of it! .....

I think we would be willing to share with 3-4 others..we have three in our party. And I'm not sure yet if we would split the day so we have it to ourselves for half the time or all share it. The entire time...does it matter either way?

Well that's up to you.

I feel trying to split the day is moot almost, and uncomfortable for all involved, and will detract from the whole Cabana benefit, and eliminate the incentive of any possible pax invites, IMO.

Odds are each group will be out and about at different times, and I mean how much time are you actually there for? I mean within the unit. Even if you are there at the Hut at the same time, so what. lol.

The larger question is how to handle / ask for $ if desired.

Some may share their unit with others w/o asking for $, if under the 6 pax limit. Mostly, if over the limit , or not, folks ask for $ to share. Some who have a unit wish to split the cost understandable. Keep in mind the first 6 pax are covered under the initial fee of $550. DCL is willing to sell the unit to 10 pax at $50/each over 6 pax. So in your example you are a party of 3, you invite a party of 4, then you theoretically owe DCL $50. If that makes sense.

The delicate question is how do you split the total cost of the Cabana. Most would add the total cost of all pax involved and divide by two, and that would be each group's cost. All those payment/weird details can easily be worked out at GS/Concirege regardless of pax configurations. So don't worry about the payment details, even if slightly split unevenly.

It's the Cabana holders decision. IOW, it's your call. This dilemma can/and usually works it self out aboard, as you, or your kids, link up with other like families. , IYKWIM

A unique question rarely asked is which safe combo to use and share?

It's not too much trouble and I hope you don't leave, I like posting with you. Travoria hasn't done an updated list anywhere for TOT yet. She will do it in the next few weeks I am sure, but she probably has your name and kids signed up as well. She was taking PMs of names and ages of kids here and on FB, but no updates.

I wanted to let you know the "shirt #2" kids one I went and ordered for my youngest (10) and the image is too small. MadMinnieMum said she would resize it, but I wouldn't order it yet, if I were you. I know that was the one you preferred so I would wait. I'm going to have to reorder for DD.

I'm sorry if you feel "left out". I'm not posting as often as I should because I am away a lot. I'll try to post more while I am out.

Hey there Bear!
I know I've been MIA on the TOT. with end of school year activities and our travel schedule I'm behind. I haven't updated FB or DIS on who is signed up. So no one is being left behind. I'm getting to it on Monday. My family is just now driving home from a week at the beach & celebrating my big 4-0 tomorrow. After that I'm ready to buckle done an get Disney focused.

Forgive my absence on DIS. I promise I'm using both and will NOT leave anyone out if the fun.

ToT UPDATE: I have updated the ToT participant and volunteer/donation list as of this morning, June 23 @ 10:00am EST. If you did NOT receive a response message from me PLEASE contact me right away as it means I do not have you signed up and need you to resend your information.

AS OF TODAY, we have the following:
- 55 Trick or Treaters participating
- 12 Volunteers to run Candy/Treat Stations (need at least 16 for minimum 8 stations/2 adults per station)
- 18 People donating candy … would like 5 "Fun Size" bags of candy per station. So, if everyone donating brought at least 2 bags we are almost there on candy!
- 5 People donating "Non-candy" treats. NEED more volunteers in this area. Would like each child to get 5 items. These will be distributed at the LAST station in a Halloween goodie bag. These can be store bought, homemade…anything Halloween or Disney related. Not every child will get the same items. HOWEVER, every child will get an identical treat my 12yo DD is making. Love her helping Mommy out! Disney kids are the best…don't you think?

SPECIAL NOTE: Regarding Stateroom # information…
I have requested this as your first "ToT Clue" will be made available to you at the "Meet & Greet", however, if you are not in attendance or forget to pick up your clue at that event then I need to have a way to distribute this information to you. There will be a START TIME on ToT day on your clue but your clue will take you to your first treat station. The LAST treat station will be the same for everyone so we can gather and see all the smiling faces, LOOT and snap a few pictures. This process will help avoid a morning congestion & allow you to start your ToT adventure from breakfast, the pool, meeting spot you arrange with friends, the spa etc. No morning mob.

I hope you are EXCITED! Comment or message me if you have any questions. Although, I don't want to give away everything.

We just got the kids' new ones in the mail this week!!! Can't believe they already needed new ones. They were so excited but I doubt we will even get of the ship much. We always say we are going to do excursions and then mostly just stay on the ship. Need to start looking at excursions and doing our own research in case non of those fascinate us.
