October 25, 2014 Fantasy Western "The Not So Scary Halloween Cruise 2014" Part 2

Great job everyone.

How do we vote? Here or by PM? Could a date, even just a year, be added after the voting?

TIA

yes Bear3412, please just post a quote or reply detailing which entry you would like to place your vote for.

I'm sure designers could add a date or year once the winning design is announced, should it not have one already.

ok, as the voting in families seems to be split, would there be any objection to having 1 tshirt design for the kiddies and a different one for the adults shirt?
If you have no objection please post a quote or reply with your preferences for each shirt, thank you

Hi Bear. It has gotten quiet again over here. (Crickets)

The shirts are pretty awesome. I am trying to figure out when we will wear these spectacular Mickey tie dyes I made since our group shirts are for embarkation.

The big flurry of activity from a month ago has settled down and it seems like we've settled in for a long wait! Five months will fly by (fingers crossed) I'm thinking of completing a trip report and pre trip report, just need to start writing.

I promise to keep checking in here as are others with updates. I'm sure there are some lurkers here (yes, you), come on out and chat!

Sorry I've been in DC for a week for a baptism. Now I'm out from here to Alaska. I'll be back, sorry for those wishing otherwise.:lmao:

There will be other times. Excursions, sea days, MDR's - :lmao:

:goodvibes

I admit it, I'm a lurker. Honestly just haven't had much to post about and I don't want to bore everyone to tears.

So, about a month or so ago, we had been chatting about fitness goals and running the CC 5k. Just wondering how that's going for everyone? I had a plan to get to a certain weight and then start running. I got to that weight a couple of weeks ago, so I started running and did pretty well! Then, this last week, I managed to pick up some awful stomach bug, making it impossible to run (without retching in the neighbors shrubbery :crazy2:). Now I just can't seem to get back to running. I'm still walking multiple miles everyday, but I just feel exhausted. I'm hoping someone here can motivate me back to running! Help!

Oh, and please, please, please Plannermom....write your pre trip report! I promise to follow along and not lurk!:)popcorn::

I decided that since there is nothing wrong with me, I should be able to run a marathon. I signed up for Disney marathon in Jan. Never mind I've never run a mile in my life :rotfl2: Feel better and start back slowly. Once you force yourself the first few weeks the motivation will come back.

Oh my gosh...a whole marathon? :worship: I'm impressed! So, are you going to train or just go run and see what happens?:faint:

:worship:Awesome job at meeting your goal. Walking several miles a day is much better than not doing anything at all.
You have time to regain your  stamina and get back to running. Be patient..

I'm attempting to train, but like you there are times I'm less motivated. Those times I have to kick my own butt to leave the house and run. You'll get back into a routine soon. :thumbsup2

Happy Memorial Day.

Here in the mid-Atlantic weather couldn't be nicer, finally.

A special thanks to all the service folks keeping us safe. :thumbsup2

Thank You !

Off to a party. :)

Thanks, shaned! I've been a walker for years now, but mainly because my dog forces me!
I made myself run a bit yesterday. My dd went along with me and I managed to wog (walk/jog) a couple of miles. So thanks for the encouragement.:)

Just starting to make real plans for arrival in FL prior to cruise. So excited that it's getting closer! Time's gonna fly now that it's summer!:woohoo:

I did that in 2012. I was overweight, had just finished a 5K or two, and decided in April to sign up for a marathon. Not sure what I was thinking...

I completed the Walt Disney World marathon in January 2013. With my new boyfriend, whom I had met through running. And this cruise will be our honeymoon cruise (and yes, we plan to run the CC 5K).

If I can do it, anyone can.
