What's amazing with DCL is these #'s could mean almost half the cabins were filled with repeat customers. Impressive.
Bear might have booked that, if he hadn't found out I was booked.![]()
We're safely back home, unfortunately we returned to 30 degrees and a chance of flurriesDidn't rebook any future cruises while on board, but we are planning on sailing to Alaska in 2018.

Projects done at grandma's.Except the huge armadillo den/hole under the generator slab. Delegated that to the neighbor for fixing his electrical issue.
That will be a dirty job, have no work clothes.
Well, that's my excuse.
Forgot to mention, wife and I are land sick. Happened last time too. Blamed that on significant seas of Sandy, but this time no excuse. Fine aboard, yet lots of motion on land. Weird. We took Bonine the whole time aboard and continued on land this time, yet still affected. Last time after Sandy it lasted for two weeks for me.
The two off shore excursions we did at GC and CC were bouncy and rough, but the Fantasy was generally stable IMO. It's all relative though.
My new theory is we are destine to live at sea.![]()
I've still got sea legs. Not anything annoying or making me sick. Just feeling the waves still. I'm kind of enjoying it still!
The water was quite choppy at CC, but it didn't stop us from snorkeling.
You should have seen the 2 foot waves at Sting Ray City, GC.Slightly spooky when they say don't step on them, yet you are a cork in the water with 60# rays.

After the Rays we went snorkeling at the Coral Gardens, and on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the worst, I was drowning with snorkel gear at I'll guess # 3. It spooked me. The wind and two foot waves, snorkel full of water, three breaths of Cayman water. I freak for a couple minutes. It was scary for a brief time.
The said the day before all excursions were cancelled due to waves/wind. It was still rough.
I got great pics. Can't wait to post.
CC lagoon appeared calm to us, but we did not access the snorkel lagoon. Was it choppy over there?
We para sailed first thing on CC and that 25 foot boat was rocking and rolling big time. Glad I didn't bring a real camera, because we were soaked, not from para sailing, but from the bow waves as we sailed out, and while maneuvering the boat for the para sailors.
We barely felt the ship moving until the last evening, I don't blame Comm. Tom for advising folks to stay off the outside decks. Both my MIL and myself are still feeling slight rocking motions, although I think I got it worse as both legs of our flight home were rough and really shook me up
I was outside in the squall aboard. Had to, lol. The winds really came fast. Fast sustained list of the vessel. That sustain was actually rare for that size of vessel, IMO. Usually the ship will right itself quicker. I estimate that list at at least 5 minutes. Amazing.
Wind on the TV peaked at 54 mph that we saw, which I question due to the sustained list.
But I'll bet the max wave height encountered on our sailing was 7 feet, the last night.
Two years ago, max wave height 18 meters. eek.
The last night's motion was mainly wind and gulf stream current. IMO.
Perhaps we need something more powerful than Bonine once ashore to combat the land motion.
