The PAHW

We were just reading that in the pediatrician's office yesterday (Ameera's 18 month checkup - 29 in, 19 lbs! WHOOHOO!! All healthy, only one shot!). She loved it and would just laugh so hard then hold her foot up to do it all again!

Lordy, I'm feeling my age today. Late night transcribing notes from Ed's meeting last night, and then more computer work with some Wii breaks to break up the monotony! Ed took care of the girls this morning to let me sleep in a bit.

Arlene, seems there's been some prolems on the chat board lately. I know it was kicking people off last night when they would try to post. Is there something that needs looked into? We were talking about getting with you last night and POOF here you are on the boards!

Lots to do today and then a having a special night with Tori tonight. Ed has a boys sleepover with the 5th and 6th graders at church tonight that he's chaperoning leaving me with the girls (again! Third night in a row that he's been out! Whew!) so I'm trying to plan something special for Tori so she doesn't feel left out. We're going to watch Enchanted (her favorite movie right now) after Ameera goes to bed, do manicures and pedicures, eat popcorn in mommy's bed (regulary a no-no but we'll drop that rule tonight). I just have to figure out what we're going to do for dinner! Was thinking Five Guys since she likes the Bacon Cheddar Hotdog but they're so busy on Fridays I don't want to take the two girls there myself - it's a nightmare at times! So that's still up in the air.

Let the day begin! Everyone have an AWESOME day! It's Friday, a three day weekend for Tori (teacher workday on Monday), it's gonna be 78 degrees here today, sunny with a bit of rain tonight. Get to break out my shorts today (sunglasses everyone, the blinding whiteness will getcha!)....life could only be better if we were all on the cruise!!! Ahhhhh......

BIGBEN! What's the official countdown?!?!? Haven't heard from you in a while!

Travel Channel TONIGHT! Samantha Brown's Disney favorites - NEW SHOW!
9:00 pm EST

Saw a show the other day on Travel channel called Cruising Do's and Don'ts
It was pretty good, only about a year old, and would be really good for those that have never cruised before. They did show a bunch of different ships but did concentrate a bit on Disney Cruise Line a lot towards the end.

It's replaying NEXT Friday on Travel channel at 10:00 pm EST. I would recommend it for sure!!!

Seems your wii is working now. Next, its our turn: just bought Quicken yesterday. Plan to use it to track DW's work at home expenses.

Off day #2 of 5 for me . Reading up on my AllEars bulletins yesterday, and saw that Travel Channel has 4 new Disney shows coming. They premiere one each Friday at 9pm (2100 for those in healthcare) starting tonight. I think they are, in no particular order: Sam Brown's favorites, on a budged, splurge, and royal treatment. We plan on staying up after our normal bed time to watch them.

I use Quicken for our home expenses and QuickBooks 2006 for our company and the other companies I manage/do bookkeeping. If you have questions, I can try to answer them for you.

Thanks for the heads up about the shows. Just set my DVR to tape that time slot every Friday now. WHOOHOO!! I always get excited watching the Disney shows, really don't care if they're old or new but especially love the NEW ones!!!

Xanax is evil in my family! Dad was on it recently and it worked awful with him! We have to let the hospital and the nursing home know not to give it to him!

Nope, one good stiff drinks does it for me anymore! Hadn't had a drink in forever (pg 9 1/2 months, bf for 16 more months = 25 1/2 months without a drink!) so it's like I'm a teenager anymore with one drink knocking me out!

Sean, you and your pharmacy talk! Should have known it wasn't a real vitamin.....bummer.

Night all! Tori and I just finished watching Enchanted and she's leaning on me begging to go to sleep now....only 4 hours after her normal bedtime!

Our DD's birthdays are just days apart. My DD Genny will be turning 12 on October 25. So it makes me wonder if I can count the cruise as part of her birthday present? I'm so glad to see many girls about the same age.

I was actually thinking the same thing....since my DS knows already.
But i suggested it to him and he then said sounds good what you goona get me for my birthday?

Like jokingly he would want soemthin gin comparison!!!!!

I started reading this thread a little while back, and finally decided to say hello. My family and I will be joining you all on the Oct. double dip. This will be our 2nd disney cruise, but our 1st Halloween cruise. The kids are very excited. (Well, my husband and I are a little excited too!) We can't wait to see what disney has planned for Halloween.
