Which restaurant has better turkey - Liberty Tree or Garden Grill? Doesn’t matter about the characters just the quality of turkey since that is what I’ll be eating, and not the other meats. Thank you!!

I can say that the Turkey at Garden Grill is very good as is the meal in general. I haven't been to Liberty Tree in forever, but I always hear mixed things. Garden Grill is one of my favorite on-proeprty restaurants (though that is largely due to the steak with chimichuri which you will not be partaking of). The sides are good too though - good mac & cheese! Maybe base it off of that and the desert? Note that GG sometimes changes out the desert seasonally (though it's always been good - I am partial to the strawberry shortcake).

The last time we ate at LTT I thought that the Turkey was more of a pressed Turkey loaf than actual Turkey meat. The pork appeared to be the same. Both were edible but seemed like cafeteria fare. If you are interested in quality of the meats LTT might not be the place to go.

I enjoy the turkey at Liberty - It's not fine dining and it's not a homecooked Thanksgiving turkey, but it's tasty and the gravy and stuffing with it are tasty too - I usually end up eating a bit of the beef, a bit of the pork (which now that it's ham, none), none of the mac and cheese - and plow through the turkey, potatoes, gravy, and stuffing - and those are the only things I'll often do more of.

My family had meals at Liberty Tree Tavern quite a few times including January 2026, and also at Golden Horseshoe recently. My daughter and I had a meal at Garden Grill in January 2026. While none of the restaurants has turkey like the turkey that I roast and my husband carves at Thanksgiving, I would describe all three as sliced roast turkey, pretty similar to each other, in my opinion. I don't think either one is pressed turkey, as far as I can tell.

If you enjoy colonial furniture and decor, Liberty Tree Tavern is charming. Golden Horseshoe has a livelier vibe and an interesting layout. In the past, you could sit up in the balcony, but not when we were last there. The characters at Garden Grill are fun, and the rotation of the restaurant is a special attraction. If you have gone on Living with the Land recently, you will have a different viewing angle for that ride.
