We are going back on the Disney Magic - on the WB Transatlantic 14 night cruise from Barcelona on 18th September 2010 - my birthday! This time it will be just Tony (DH) and I

It will be lovely to see Lynne, Karen, Jenn and Nelson again, and this time we may get to meet with Nicole and family too! Anyone else from HOTHS booked on the WB Transatlantic?

Been busy this week - will hopefully get some photos posted soon. Trying to get kids settled back into school, lots of work to get caught up on, and adjusting to cooking, cleaning, and not being waited on anymore - I much prefer it the other way .

me too - Sean's trippie is excellent! I am addicted to trip reports at the moment. Anyone else going to be writing one?

I wonder if anywhere else is as depressing as the UK at the moment - it's not even 4pm and it's getting dark! Reading trip reports and living vicariously is the only thing keeping the SAD and DWS at bay for now!

Sorry we don't recall what we ate for each meal, as some are really interested in the food choices. As per the norm since 2005, we brought our travel journal with us. Typically, we journal in the evening, right before bed. But, on this cruise, we didn't make a single entry. I'm having to do the TR from memory, with the help of Christine. I must work long shifts at work this weekend, so it looks like the next chapter will be on Monday.

However, on a positive note the price I got from my TA was actually more than 10% less than the on-line quote from DCL - $500 less in fact, and I would only have got $285 off for 10% discount. I also have $100 obc (don't know how much I would get from DCL for booking on board). So I feel a bit better now about not re-booking on board - could have kicked myself when I first got off though!

That is superb! You do come out ahead, as the obc is $200.

it's hard to believe this time 3 weeks ago we were all ready to set sail
how fast the holiday went and now seems so far away

Anyone any photos to share
did the group photo take place as I said before I kind of got mixed up with the days , got it into my head it was on pirates night
like most of my plans they went over board once I got on the ship

Well it is Aidans 18th birthday today so we are heading out for a nice dinner to celebrate and then himself and his older brother are going out
it is legal for him to drink now , so I hope he doesn't go mad

Okay...photobucket doesn't like me lately, and it's not too fond of me tonight, so don't know if this will work. But in light of our own little picture of the day, here's one for you Jackie!

Okay, don't remember how to make it smaller! But I do know that Michael was one of the reasons Adam liked the clubs more this time around - he doesn't usually make friends easily when in a group, but he and Michael seemed to hit it off. They were lucky they didn't blow off the pier together that day!

How is everybody... Sorry I have not made it into chat... I have not had the laptop at home with me... Maybe Monday....

Sinking deeper and deeper into DWS with a side of I hate some of the people I work with, bitter, backstabbing, 2 faced little old church ladies.... You would think... you know... the whole Christian love thing... yeah... not here with these windbags.... Unfortunately, a couple of backstabbing little old ladies are ruining a congregation of 300+ for me.... I just dont ever want to be here....

I have loaded all my pictures into snapfish and will be loading the HOTHS related ones onto photobucket soon.... will post as soon as I can!
