We were gone all weekend (and I had a Thursday meeting) so sorry I haven't been around.

But I've got wonderful news on the ship upgrades .... it came from a site I work with so I can't post all of it here, but let's just say that you will be happy if:

You are a toddler
You are a kid
You are an adult
You have a stateroom


BTW -- three groups of FEs sound good to me.

Sarah and Jackie -thanks for telling me you thought I did a great job on my FE, but I cannot take the credit for making it, I really am not that creative, I ordered it of of ebay and just asked for an americana theme. She did a great job and I love it!

Amy and Stout- Congrats on the savings and the Cat 9 rooms, I called my TA because of your posting to see if there is a military rate available we will see if I am as lucky as you two!

That would be great - but I'm not holding my breath. I was upgraded from a cat 9 to a cat 5 last October, so I think I've used up my good karma. But it did convince me to book the Cat 5 for this cruise

I went to work today and got thrown completely under the bus. Now I am completely at a loss....

One of my corporation's other nursing facitlities had a bad yearly inspection. I had been helping fill in some shifts while the new graduate nurses were waiting fro their lic. I really am not surprised that they did poorly. I have had a saying lately about them "same owner different world" While I have been helping out, I definitely made sure things were done correctly during my time there and made suggestions to the director of nursing but tried not to step on any toes.

Well today one of the owners came to my facility (she regularly does) and had a meeting with my administrator and me ( I am the director of nursing). Basically telling me that I will now be "in charge" of that facility. I now have the responsibility of getting it up to my/owners standards and quick. I will be placed there for the next 3 weeks at least.

Now I know I can handle a challenge. The problem is that the owner proceeded to tell that facility's administrator that the problem is leadership and she is to now answer to me. I was so embarrassed for her. This is going to be a very stressful couple of weeks.

Then...the owner offers the administrator's job to me twice! I know she is going to be fired soon. I would really like that salary but really don't want to leave my current facility. We have a great team of nurses and administrative staff.
What a unbelievable crazy stressful shocking day. I have no idea what to do or how to turn it down if that is what i decide.

If you go to the "quick links" box, which should be just below the box that says "welcome, auntylynne" You last visited.... (upper right)

Click on of the down arrow next to quick links and there is an option to edit your signature... You can change the font, color, size, and add smilies, IMG code.... you kind of have to play around with it to get it the way you want.

We have exactly 36 cabins signed up for the FE exchange. Now we need to decide on how many cabins we would like in each group (and how much walking we would like to do!).

Option One: 3 groups of 12 cabins
Option Two: 2 groups of 18 cabins

So can you give me your preferred option over the next couple of days, either by posting or sending a PM. ( I would try and do a poll here but I can't work our how to do that!)

I will try and sort the cabins out according to decks but there are still a few who have not been allocated a cabin number and so I will just have to split the non-allocated cabins up amongst the other groups.

I still do not have a cabin number (but I am gty a cat 6, so if you want to put me with the floors around that to make it easier for all involved - instead of making someone from 2 come all the way up).... will post it the minute I do (while doing the doc dance ) <<< I was going to use the dancing banana smiley... but he just freaks me out!
