My and my best friend Jane went last Dec to bournemouth for a murder mystery event, which was based on the Sound of Music. I brought this for her as a birthday treat, as shes one of these people who have a fab job and earns tons of money, so getting presents can be really hard.
We had the time of our life, it was surreal.
We were on a table with another couple a book maker ( betting shop owner) and his "wife" who was about 30 yrs younger than him and said she was a glamour model!!! We prentended to work for the BBC , and that we cast extras for TV programmes like Eastenders, Casulty etc. ALL night the glamour model was trying to get a job from us, and he man was buying us drinks to "help".
We got so drunk my mate who is single, ended up snogging a guy, who was dressed as a nun. I fell in the flower beds, in the front of the hotel.

What a night !!!

Now please dont get the wrong impression of me. I dont get out much, so for me this was a BIG night out and a VERY funny one too! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I felt so bad the next day from drinking too much, I couldnt even get to the shops!

Cass great to hear from you, good luck with managing Kiras sleeping. It can be tough to start with, but worth the pain/crying in the end.

Chris where are you ????????

Thought please, can we do this on our own ???

Cass, good luck with the housing issue - I hope everything works out OK. And good luck with baby-sleep issues...I know from some of my co-workers that than can be very hard (more so on mommy and daddy than on the baby) so here's a hug for the whole family... :grouphug:

I had to go to Kansas City yesterday for work...out the door by 5:30AM...three hour drive (210 miles - we drive fast!)...three hours of meetings...turn around and drive home. On top off that joy now I seem to be getting sick with something...kind of feels like bronchitis but I'm playing the wait and see game for now. Going to have nice sugary, miky cup of chamolile tea to try to feel better.

This is Jason's weekend to work so I'll have some time to myself to nap or hog the computer. ;)

Cass,

Good Luck on the housing front.

Hope the sleeping front goes your way as well.

DS (who by the way is 7 today :bday: ) would only stay down a couple of hours at a time during the night when we first brought him home but within 6 weeks, we got him to go 6 hours at night.

Our problem was that he was doing a really long nap during the day. The Dr's office told us that they will do one long sleeping time during a 24 hour period. So, they told us to wake him up after 2 hours during the day and keep him up for a while. Eventually, his long sleep time moved to the night and we started getting 6 hours (11 p.m. - 5 a.m.).
