My Niece and her German Fiance went to one of these recently and it was fancy dress..yes you guest it he dressed in traditional german dress. He was thinking of going as a nun, but decided not to bother. :rotfl: :rotfl:

He had also never seen the film, so was not sure what to expect, but enjoyed the experience.

Have a good time Karen

I was thinking I may try one last angle with Suz.

I was talking to someone today who I hadn't talked to since before the January cruise and I was telling them about the cruise.

While I was talking, is when I had my thought.

I was saying how there was so much we didn't get to see in Key West and that we'd probably go back and see a few more things sometime. Then in Grand Cayman, we would probably do the island tour the next time.

So I'm thinking, since we got a great rate for this cruise, why not do it now?

I already know she will shoot it down, but I'm at least going to try it.

Hey, has Chris been around lately?

I don't seem to remember seeing a post from him lately.

Hope everything is o.k.

DS is off school AGAIN today. The school is without water, so they got send home after 1/2 day. They may be out tomorrow as well.

So, lets see, 1/2 day last Friday, snow days for Monday and Tuesday, 1/2 Day today and possibly full day tomorrow. That makes 4 out of the last 6 days off.

Wonder when they are going to make that up?

K-12 makes a day up on Feb. 19th :( that's me, but K-4 makes a day up on March 5 :) that's not me, for some reason they make up an extra day

Hi, it's pretty quiet around here for a Friday night!

Finally have a Saturday off tomorrow. My co-worker and I usually alternate on Saturdays, but she was off on vacation, so I had to do 2 in a row. Ugh! What a long week that was. Going shopping tomorrow. Meeting my parents, so the girls get to see Gma & Gpa. They're so excited. My parents live about 2 hours away, so we don't get to see them too often (though DH would say often enough!)

Jeff, you certainly will be missed, as you are right, we are one big family! Just keep trying, though things will eventually work out the way they're meant to.

Haven't had much in the way of snow, it's just bitterly cold. The wind just slices right through me! They are talking about some of that white stuff on Tuesday though. So, we're not out of the woods yet!

Chris - I forget, is this your first Disney cruise? Have you sailed in concierge before?

Have a great weekend everyone! :goodvibes

So, here's a recap of tonights events:

Tickets for two $80.00
Parking $10.00
Pizza, Water and Diet Coke for two $18.00
A Stitch Snow Cone for DD $10.00
My long awaited bucket-o-popcorn $8.00 (yup, the price went up by $2.00)

Disney On Ice with DD? Priceless!!!

The show was fantastic!! :cheer2:

Peter Pan, 101 Dalmations, The Little Mermaid, and Lilo and Stich. Very cute show, lots and lots of kids, and I held my breath as long as I could for that Laser Light but DD wouldn't budge. :lmao: (Actually, if I would've asked for it, she would've bought it for me..sweet kid huh?)

Good Night all. I think Mr. Flu slapped me upside the head tonight. Maybe I'll sleep 4 hours tonight instead of my usual 3. :worried:

Hey Brenda, do you know that this thread has already surpassed the final posting page of our Molar Express by almost 20 pages? We still have 8 months to go!:lmao:

Holy Moley people! I step away from this thread for a few days and I have like 25 pages to catch up on???? :scared1:

You Kruisers just gotta stop being so darn nice and friendly geez!!!! :rolleyes1

Karen Mouse, good luck with the viewings!! Ugh, I hated doing that a couple of years ago when we sold our house. May the force be with you! :darth:

Sorry to hear about everyone who got sick...lotsa dust stuff coming your way!! pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Brenda, I am looking forward to reading your trippie! popcorn:: I am so glad you decided to write one up! I have been waiting patiently for it.... actually I've been rather impatient....darnit..it's about freakin' time you wrote that dang thing!!! Geez, it's not like you have a job or anything

Nancy, I agree your daughter is beautiful and she has your great smile ::yes:: And being the "MOM" is rather flattering I think, so take that as a compliment!

Jeff, I hope you stick with us for the cruise, I am sure you will make an absolutely hilarious addition to our meets!! If not, we will miss you! :grouphug:

Linda, great snowman! I can't wait to do that with Kira! We got enough snow this week to actually make one! I see that your grass is still green under all that snow!!?? Ours is brown :sad1:

We went to a Sleep Seminar for babies/children on Tuesday as we are having some sleep issues with the baby. It was the first time we left her with a babysitter (her Auntie Deb!) We were taught the "Extinction Method" for getting kids to be a good sleeper and getting her into a routine. Tonight is "night 1" of 3 nights. Basically they teach you that babies need to be able to get themselves to sleep and find their self sooting technique. Unfortunately that means a lot of crying.   We just put her down and she's crying so I came on here to distract myself. :dogdance: This is going to be a VERY LONG night!!

It's been one of those weeks...you know when everything goes wrong and it just keeps getting worse. We found out this morning that our landlord decided to sell the house and we have to move next month. Fantastic timing butthead (do you sense the sarcasm?? or my extreme bitterness??? :furious: ) The housing in Calgary is STUPID right now...the housing market is totally retarded...the typical 3 bedroom house with a garage was about $200,000 2 years ago and now that same house is going for about $500,000!!!
We sold our house just before the market changed because we thought we were moving to Ottawa. Well, turns out we didn't move and now the housing is so expensive we can't even afford a mortgage!! So in the meantime we have to rent and since we moved in here, the rental rates also went through the roof and having 2 dogs and 2 cats make it even harder. So I will be packing for the next month and hoping we find a place that suits our needs.

Well, on the plus side if we can get Kira into a routine and sleeping at night, I might actually find the time to pack :rolleyes1

:sad1: Hi everyone:sad1: .....well....my friend picked me up last night at 6pm- usually at 15 -20 min journey. The show was due to start at 7pm.....we were still in the car at 8.20pm battling with the snow, abandoned cars and sheet ice patches.:sad2:

We gave up and eventually got home - no singa - just longa traffic queues.:sad1: Oh well.......at least its raining now so the bl**dy stuff will finally melt.

Cass... sorry to hear baby Kira isnt sleeping so good... hope last night wasnt too traumatic. A friend of ours did the same thing though so stick at it - it definately works. Hope you get your house situation sorted:eek: - its frightening isnt it the price of houses nowadays. The one we're looking at is £325k - thats gotta be about $600ish? - it'll be a killer going from no mortgage to one that size:scared1:

Nancy - glad you enjoyed Disney on Ice - sounds like fun:goodvibes

Chris - where are you? - is that you buried inside Lindy's snowman?
Apparantly you're getting the tail end of the snow today - keep warm and STAY INDOORS! - DONT BOTHER TRYING TO GET ANYWHERE!:rolleyes1

Ok, thats me bumped.... have a good weekend folks.:wave2:

ps - I had bought hubby some Lindt chocs for Valentines :lovestruc - we ate them last night:rolleyes: -oops! Its the second box that hasnt made it to feb 14!:rolleyes1
