Cheryl, Here's a picture of Jesse and our DD (Kristin)at The Rainforest at the Disney Marketplace last year. Jesse will be skiing for the Tao Fit Team. They'll be wearing red, black and blue jerseys with lots of Chinese symbols all over. Jesse said he'll be wearing a red cap. And you're right, he won't know his number until the race.

Jeff - I just can't believe you won't be on our sailing. I know you haven't actually cancelled yet. I hope you & Suz can find some way to make it work.

I just posted today on the Repo thread, I'm not cancelling it until the last minute.

Waiting to see what the tax man will send me this year, plus how much tax prep revenue I'll do this season, plus I'll know my bonus by 6/30 (our year end) which is before the 90 day mark.

But, even if all these turn out good, I'm sure Suz will just say to pay down the repo instead.

But, on the flipside, depending on how the whole new boss thing goes, we may know by July that she can't have off those 2 weeks next year. Then we fall back to the Western this year.

I've got my ducks in a row. Going to try every last possible thing before dropping out of this group.

I really feel like I will be missing a great cruise if I don't go.

Unlike the Repo, there is a small core of us (about 15) here that seem to have come together. It would be like going to a family reunion and that one cousin your not that close to but like seeing each year isn't there.

Just a morning bump from a cold and snowy Birmingham. It has started to thaw (slowly) but I havent been out yet to see if the pavements have turned into ice rinks . I'm not good on ice rinks - seriously, I fell a few years ago walking on icy pavements - well - actually I didnt even manage to make it to the bottom of our path! and damaged my back. I had to crawl back up the path and phone my mom for help. Within half an hour most of my back was blacky blue with bruises and now I'm like an old lady on the ice - shuffle half an inch, then another half an inch etc. I have a hairdresser appointment at 11.30am - about 5 min walk away normally - If I set off soon I should just get there on time! PRAY FOR SUNSHINE TO GET RID OF THIS HORRIBLE STUFF. I'm housebound!

Its the main reason we havent swopped to the Freedom. If Im honest its probably the only reason, cos the price and ports are similar. The only "extra" on the Magic, is you guys.
I did even peep in the cruise critic meets for the Oct cruise, there werent many people on it, but they certainly havent "gelled" like we have. I didnt post but the posts were very factual, not fun and crazy like ours

School is open today, so I had to trudge to school in wellies, while Elouise is having a blast, dancing in the snow ( yes its snowing again, but not really settling) and trying to scoop enough snow up to throw at me.!

O.K. looks like we don't have to worry about Karen switching to RCCL for the ice rink onboard.

Just kidding - that ice is dangerous. I almost lost it last week at the gas station. I was going to fill up and walked between the pumps to get the thingy that cleans the windows and almost fell on my A!

The news websites don't list DS's school as being closed for the water problem, so it looks like business as usual today. I will be P'd if I get there and they say it isn't open.

Guess I will pack stuff as if it's closed. His school is on the way to my office, so if we have to keep going, no big deal.
