Fantastic snowman Lindy - I'm impressed!

We are off sledging now. I just wish it would stop falling...its thicker than ever now - we're up to about 4 or 5 inches and the sjky is full of the stuff.
No gym for me today - my only exercise will be rolling snowballs and sledging!

Just found out from the estate agent the man sat outside our house last night waiting for her to turn up - he thought it was an accompanied viewing! - geez! Why didnt he knock the door?:sad2:

Karen, so sorry about the viewing. But just think, your house is immaculate and smells heavenly now. ;)

Linda, wow, that's one heck of a snowman. That snow had to be very thick and heavy to reproduce him.

Bill, thanks for the intro. I'll add you onto our Konked Kruiser list. Be sure to PM Brenda (Oybolshoi) for your invite to our secure Yahoo Group. If you want to see more on the DIStag game go to Post #1909, page 128 of this thread and then let us know if it sounds like something your family may like to partake in.

Brenda, if I manage to get a lunch break today you can bet that I'll be tuned into your new TR. :surfweb:

Cheryl, DD and I are going to Friday's Disney on Ice show. I've been saving my WW Flex Points for a $6.00 tub (er, "cup") of popcorn and a Major Goolsbeys Cheesburger!! I was also thinking that if we know FSIL's (Jesse) number for the Birkie, we'll let you know. You can give him a shout out while handing him a banana.

Hope I've addressed everyone. Off to my bike and another fun filled day at work covering for jobs I know nothing about!:cool1:

Nancy we went to Disney on ice in November, in Birmingham.Thats when we stopped off for Brendas HRC pins. This year ( well 06) Disney on ice was Dinsey Princess's on ice. Which was GREAT for Elouise. The popcorn etc was WAY over priced.................. we had only been back to the UK for 2 days, and after being in Florida for 3 weeks, and having GREAT service, with a SMILE and MASSIVE servings, at cheap prices, we had a real shock!!!

I read on another thread that Cinderella 3 is out, its not out here............ well I dont think it is :confused3 apparently on the trialer bit there is a section of twice charmed from the Magic.

Do you know what day that show will be on, on our cruise. I guess its something we must ensure we plan to see.

Hope I didn't miss anyone.

Can you add our friends who we are joining. They want to be added to the list to Konked Kruisers

Dave and Bev plus Nicola (DD) and James (DS) plus Sheila and Frank (Bev's Mum and Dad)

Thanks - Heather

PS - Linda - Great Snowman

Hi everyone. OK, the last time I was here, we were on page 155, now we're on 185! I have to go thru 30 pages people just to catch up!

Just an update, and I'll go start reading.

Sam's doing better. Once her fever broke (over 102!) she was a completely different child. Much more her normal self. Both the girls and John are all on medication. They've all got the creeping crud! Poor dears. They're all coughing and hacking all over the place. I keep telling them to stay far, far away from me!

Anyway, let me go backtrack a bit. I'll post again later once I'm all caught up.

Glad to hear Sam's doing better! Those high fevers sure do make the lethargic don't they. Rachel hit 102.5 a few times last week and you could really tell then she wasn't feeling well and her cheeks would get bright red. Hope John and the girls get better quickly and you stay healthy too pixiedust:

Well, I am told by DH that the Italy job will probably not open to a Marine, so it looks like our original plan of moving to VA is still good to go! So, that means that we are still on for the cruise!!!

Now if I could just talk him into the Massage Spa Villas (sorry, I know that name isn't right) on the Magic, all would be right in my world!! UNFORTUNATELY THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!:lmao:

It IS the year of a million dreams, isn't it?:rotfl:

Karen, what about the viewing? How'd it go? Did you have coffee? (maybe with Bailey's?):coffee:

Paige glad to hear it sounds like everything is working out for you and that you'll still be able to keep the cruise!

Karen what a mix up with the showing of your house, and to think he was there but never knocked :confused3 Is he going to come back?

I hope you and Ellis have are having fun with the snow! Playing in the snow is great exercise.

Lindy Loo I just pulled out my Navigators from the Western cruise we did this past Oct. and Twice Charmed was on Tuesday night. It was the first time we had seen it and we really enjoyed it alot! Can't wait to see it again.

I love your snowman! You guys did a great job with him!

Nancy enjoy Disney on Ice tomorrow and enjoy your popcorn popcorn:: and cheeseburger! Yummy
If there is a way to find out Jesse's number before you'll have to let me know but if I remember right you don't know your number until you pick up all your stuff when you get up there. Keep me posted.

Hope your work day is going OK

Yes, I think he is going to re-schedule but he's dependant on a lift from his parents - I think he's a youngish asian guy from what the estate agent said. I think he's a first time buyer so obviously doesnt know how to do things etc. Oh well.... hes knows now! Apparantly he did the same for the next half hour 6.30-7pm - sat outside another house he was meant to be viewing waiting for that agent too!:rotfl:

Yes, Ellis and I had a scream. We were the only ones in the park so we had the little hill all to ourselves and yes....mommy did have a go on the sledge:goodvibes....and yes....mommy did shout "yipppeeeeeeeeeeeee" all the way down!" Our snowman wasnt as impressive as Lindys but he was cute:goodvibes

He's off again tomorrow - all schools shut again. It finally stopped snowing and ended up about 6-7 inches - deep for us - we're not used to it!

Dave and Bev are added. Heather, do they have a DISname? Can we have the kids ages?

6 to 7 inches of snow is a lot of snow. Even for us here who are use to it.

If you're community isn't equipped for it, I can see why you don't have school tomorrow.

Enjoy the snow and the time with Ellis.

DS is off school AGAIN today. The school is without water, so they got send home after 1/2 day. They may be out tomorrow as well.

So, lets see, 1/2 day last Friday, snow days for Monday and Tuesday, 1/2 Day today and possibly full day tomorrow. That makes 4 out of the last 6 days off.

Wonder when they are going to make that up?

Dave and Bev are added. Heather, do they have a DISname? Can we have the kids ages?

They do have a DIS name but I don't know what it is, but I will find out. Nicola will be 12 and James will be 10.

Heather

all that snow is no reason for you guys to be slacking off in the posting wars.

or has someone declared an armistace?

;)

Cheryl thanks for the info on twice charmed. I will TRY and remember it. Im so dappy that I expect I will ask again before Oct.

Pooh bush, glad things are looking up for you.

We dont know if school is open or not tomorrow. I guess it will be as the roads are really not that bad, you just have to allow extra time and take care. Ive just got back from work and the store was DEAD!:thumbsup2 so I drank coffee and started shopping in my mind for the cruise. :)

Wow............ just heard about Anna Nicole Smith, being dead. How sad. I didnt realise her 20 yr old son died 5 months ago. I guess having money doesnt always make you happy.

Boy - everyone is so quiet tonight. We were at the bottom of page 1.

Lindy - that snowman is quite a snow monster! He's huge. That must have taken quite a lot of effort to build. Packed snow is so heavy!

Thanks Cheryl for your kind thoughts! It really is something else when your kids are sick. You just want to soak it all up for them. My mantra right now is "I'm not getting sick. I'm not getting sick." So far (knock on wood) it's working just fine!

Jeff - I just can't believe you won't be on our sailing. I know you haven't actually cancelled yet. I hope you & Suz can find some way to make it work.

Just got the DVC newsletter today. The new Animal Kingdom Villas drawings look so great. Plus they're adding a new restaurant. That's a bunch of places to eat for just one resort! I doubt we'll stay there this year. Maybe next year, who knows!

I know I asked this before, but has anyone played Viva Pinata on the Xbox? I'm so addicted. Katie likes to help me out in all the garden planning. All the pinatas have cutesy names (a deer is a Doenut, a badger is a Badgesicle, etc.) When I'm not playing, I'm sitting around thinking of what I'm going to do the next time I do play! Too much fun!

Oh well. Enough rambling. Just wanted to bump us up from the bottom!
