A quick and easy way is to use Windows XP power toys "image resizer". You'll need to DL this from Microsoft's website and install it. (do a google search--the plug in is FREE!) Once loaded (it does not requre a restart) you can right click on a picure file and select "resize pictures" and you will be given choice between 4 possible sizes. Choose "Handheld PC" and you will get a copy (this does not affect the original file) that is 240x320 pixels. This will be considerable smaller than your posted pics. Once you have the lower resolution picture, merely upload it to your file server and use the same names that your previous pictures had. Viola! Smaller pictures. PS check out the rest of the power toys that microsoft has to offer. There are some goodies there.

Brenda,

I checked out PhotoBucket but they do not have a photo editor.
You could do as B9erSteve suggested but if you plan on using your photos more, which I think you will since you know how to do it now and you will be writing some TR's soon, I would suggest going out and spending even $30-40 on a photo editor. A decent basic one that I have used and liked in the past is Microsoft Picture It. There are TONS to choose from so it's up to you. But most of them will have an easy interface and you will be able to crop and resize in only a few minutes of practicing. Then once you have your photo as you like it, upload to your photobucket album.

In the meantime....you can be amazed and wowed by my incredibly talented ability to crop and resize (shhh don't tell anyone how easy it is ok??!) :rolleyes1

Oooooooooooooooooh - it worked - I figured out how to put the "boo" in my siggie! - what a clever girlie I am at 4am this morning. (Been up since 2.30am - cant sleep :sad2: )

Same here Karen!! I've been awake since 2:00 am also. I'd say we should call each other on the phone when this happens again, but I'm quite sure that my 2:00 am is different than yours and a phone call from the UK to the US would probably cost a ton of $$$.

What did you do at 2:30?? Once I realized I wasn't going to fall asleep anymore I got out of bed and made some chicken on the indoor grill. My poor dog was crying. I guess I made him a little hungry. Poor guy. :confused3 Well, at least I have dinner started already.

Brenda, Fantastic costumes!! Thanks for sharing a little early.

I'll be looking forward to your TR soon popcorn::

So now do we all agree that our thread will be dubbed "The Konk Kruisers" ? :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :woohoo: :thumbsup2

I vote one big YES!!

Hey everybody, thanks for the photo help! I will talk to Jason beacuse I'm sure we have some kind of photoshop program on our primary computer (he does all kinds of things with geneology and photo repair so he must have something). I usuallly use my notebook when I'm playing online and I don't think there are many fancy-schmancy options on that, especially if it's up to me.

Keep It Simple, Stupid was tattooed on my rear-end when I was born, but my mom had it removed. :teeth:

Gosh - wish I'd known you were up I would have come to yours for chicken :rotfl2: .

I couldnt sleep over something silly. My son has a lego set that records your voice. Well, about 2 months ago he recorded me a lovely little song he'd made up just for me and I'd kept it since and replaced his lego set with a new one so I could keep the message. Yesterday evening my little boy decided he wanted both and erased the message. I know it was silly but it upset me soooo much. I cried for ages and it kept me awake all night. It was a lovely song too :sad2: . Oh well... I'm sure he'll make me a new one.

I just sat on ebay and bought loads of stuff! - I'd spent a fortune by the daybreak! Bought 5 mickey watches and a few bits and pieces.

Its pouring down here today - really heavy rain with no end in sight. I wasnt made for wet weather :sad2: , I'm sure I should be a Floridian! :cool1:

I'll be tired later, but its Ellis' swimming club tonight so no rest for the wicked!

Have a great day everyone (at least I've stopped crying now) :wave2:

Do you brave it like a grown man or wear a big yellow poncho :lmao:

ps-just "booed" you by personal message. I got "booed" this morning so I'm passing them on. :teeth:

I like your "boo" English Gent :goodvibes - very nice indeed! What lovely person sent you that then :rolleyes1 :goodvibes

I must admit I dont "poncho" either - I have a very fetching red Mickey kagool that I let hubby carry round all day just incase it rains :rotfl: , and then when it does - I dont bother putting it on anyway! :lmao:

I like the way the pavements dry in 5 minutes in Florida.

Still raining here in Birmingham. We've had thunder and lightening right over the house today - it actually shook the house this morning and things on my glass shelves started rattling  it was a bit scarey :scared: :scared: :scared: :scared1:

Winter is certainly round the corner. :sad2:

All leftover "Konked Kruisers",

We better brush up on our typing skills as this thread is about to go silent with our fellow DISer's abandoning us next week.

I will do my best to keep us off of page two at all times. :goodvibes

I'll take this time to wish all of you safe and happy travels. :sunny:

If you mean the rebooking of another DCL cruise, we always do it with a "phantom" date just so we can take advantage of the on-board booking discounts and room credit. Unless we know of a certain date, we will usually book a 3 or 4 nighter to keep the deposit down until we know when we actually want to sail.

If you are talking about excursions, we are doing the Western the 13th of January (3 months from tomorrow) and will be doing the Sting Rays in Grand Cayman. We will be doing Key West on our own as well as Cozumel (been to the island twice - this will be a beach day for us). Castaway Cay is always considered a beach day for us as well.

For the cruise in October, unless we don't get to the Sting Rays in January, we will book that again. Otherwise, we probably won't do any excursions in October (that will be a first for us). It will definitely be a relaxing cruise.

I'll help you out Nancy. We're only gone 4 days at the end of the month.

Although, now that winter has set in here in WI, :cold: I may just have to miss my flight back. :scratchin :rolleyes1
