Hi gang...

I took the advice of all of you and my dear family and called the Dr. this morning. Seems like he had a cancellation and I had my appointment at 9:15. Sorry to say, he DID confirm my suspicions. Just to play it safe I had another biopsy, but he is 99.9% sure that it is cancer again.

I thank you all for your hugs, thoughts, prayers, champagne, and Kitty cigars!! They mean the world to me. Yes, I'm scared, but I WILL get through this again. My DD (now 22) said to me once when she was only 5 years old and very mad at me..."Mom, you won't go the heaven because you're too mean to die and God wants only nice people"!! Ahhhh, out of the mouths of babes!!

Don't worry about me..I'll be fine!!! There IS something you can all do for me.

Promise me to PLEASE WEAR SUNSCREEN!!!!!! !! Lots of it too. Melanoma can be nasty.

I am so sorry to hear about your cancer returning. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. You sound like a very strong woman, so hurry up and beat this again and get back to the good things like planning a cruise!

I am never in the sun, can't handle the heat and my skin is so sensitive. Plus with the Lupus, I'm not really supposed to be in it but unfortunately for me, it would be too late, damage has already been done. When my siblings and I were younger, my parents never heard of sunblock. Back then, people lathered on the baby oil and parked themselves in the sun for the day. We went to Florida 5 times when I was a kid and each time I got burned so bad I got sun poisoning. I got some photos at KSC where my brother and I look Chinese cus we were burnt so bad so you couldn't even see our eyes! I had huge blisters all over and was RED!! Now my brother and I have a zillion freckles and I burn if I am in the sun for more than a few minutes. I have read that it only takes one bad burning in your life to substantially increase your chances of getting skin cancer. Well, I think I have had about 9 or 10 really bad burns.

My kid won't be going out into the sun unless she's covered head to toe in 45 sunblock!!

what kind of pixie dust can Jason and I send you from WDW next week? It was kind of HP to offer his cigar, but cat-slobber is just nasty and he loves to lick his catnip cigar. Trust me when I say that you don't need that kind of get well wish showing up in the mail.

Nancy - I agree with Cass - you sound very strong. You'll fight this time around too, I'm so sure! I had a basal cell removed from my arm earlier this year. It was a definate eye opener as to what damage the sun can do. If I go out into the sun, I turn red sooo fast, it's not funny. I too lather the kids up in 45+ sunblock. I hope they never get burns like I use to get.

I've been wracking my brain for a cruise-theme for us...and I'm afraid that I'm failing miserably.

So far I've come up with Pinheads on Parade, which really only applies to Jason and me...and now that I think about it we weren't planning on having a parade while cruising so that really doesn't make any sense at all...

Cruisin' Caribbean Crazies seems a little forced...

I like Konked Kruisers a lot...but I wasn't sure how those of you of a non-alcoholic persuasion would feel about it...

Oh my...trying to be creative takes a lot out of a person. Anybody else have any ideas?

2) you wore blue jeans to dinner and offended someone so much that he /she resorted to violence and "konked" you on the head to set your clothing attire priorities straight;
3) you joined Jason and me at one of many bars for several Konk Koolers and are now regretting that you ever agreed to meet up with us in the first place. You will secretly vow never to speak with us again, unfortunately for you, you will forget your vow in the morning and are doomed to repeat yourself for every night of the kruise...

Thanks! Jason's mom made them for us. Just once I want to look good in a picture...yeccchhh... I look like the cat tried to bury me in the litterbox.

Hey Cass... how do I size my pictures so they don't take up so much space and so people aren't forced to look at me close up? I'm more appealing from a distance.

Fabulous costumes! So good that I will even put aside my loathing for Minnie for a minute to tell you that you make a cuter Minnie than Minnie!!


As for resizing photos, you need to do that in some kind of photo editor. Not sure what you use for editing your photos, but you need to adjust your pixel size.

For example, your photos are 533 pixels by 800 pixels. If you want that smaller, then you would need to resample your photo to a smaller pixel size.

Or you can crop your photo so that you only see you and not other things like the cat litter

You have your photos on photobucket I believe, let me go check them out and see if they offer some kind of editor for you. BRB
