One of the DIsers caught me tagging her door, sneaked up on me a yelled "Hey get away from that door" really loud. I screamed myself and almost started crying because she scared the heck out of me! Thought I was going to have a heart attack!!

That is nothing Nancy. Now that I know what you look like on thanks to Cass' website, I'm going to search you out daily to scare the daylights out of you.

Can anyone do the tagging,and is it the door only that gets tagged?,i mean don't want to be waddling back from the pool in my thong (it doubles up nicely as a hammock for my afternoon naps) only for some crazy lady to jump out of the shadows and give me a heart attack,am sorry i ask but i just had this vision of coming round in the medical centre with tubes coming from every orifice,weeping twins holding daddy by the hand (yer right lol)wife reading are life cover and jess looking for my wallet (only messing darling) only for someone to shout "don't worry fattie your tags right here sir"...

Jo...I listen to Kevin's cd all the time too. That was the most creative tag gift ever, wasn't it? Tony downloaded it onto my IPod and I'm listening to it right now.

Jeff and Chris...Looks like I wasn't clear enough, although it made all the sense to me.

Let's try this again. All participants received the same spreadsheet with our names and cabins #'s on it. Taggers started their game with the person listed directly under them on that list. The list and the magnet were passed out during our first DISmeet on Sunday. You go to the cabin listed under your name on the ss, tag the DOOR with the magnet and leave a gift behind. (Sorry Chris but I will not be stuffing any gifts in your g-string ). Now you wait until your door is tagged again with a magnet and gift. You then go to the cabin that is listed second under your name, tag the door and leave a gift. So at the end of the cruise you should have tagged about 15 different DISer's and received just as many gifts from them. ETC..... Clear as mud now boys?

Jeff, I thought we should have done the same thing and play the guessing game at our second DISmeet. That would've been fun.

What ended up happening to us was that our magnet got stuck on a door of a DISer whose entire family was sick that week and couldn't play. I kind of thought something was wrong when it was 2-3 days and we hadn't gotten tagged. So I just ran around with the people left over on my list and delivered my gift without the magnet. That's when I came across the door with a pile of magnets on it. Poor guy, I felt so bad for him.

BTW...I'd like extend my extreme appreciation to all those who left candy behind at my door. I had given up sweets completely (yup, all candy, cookies, cake, pie and icecream) on December 28th, 2004 and hadn't touched a bite of it until the cruise. All that candy and the room service cookies caused me to cave in!! I'm so weak!!

Sheeesh, this post took up almost all of my lunch break.

Ahhhhhh, that makes a little more sense now. Couldn't figure out how you made sure to get to everyone. So it is never a surprise who you got something from. Just go 2 names (or whatever number your on) up from yours.

See now, if you just randomly pick someone on the list that you didn't go to before, they'd never know who they got it from. Then you could do a quessing game on the last day.

On the downside, someone could get tagged multiple times in the first day while others only get tagged once or not at all until the 2nd or 3rd day.

Tag sounds like fun! Was there a dollar limit set on the gifts? Did you buy 15 of one item, and give everyone the same gift, or did you buy 15 different gifts? Just curious as to how that works?

Less than 2 weeks now til WDW! Can't wait! Our vacation chain is getting shorter!

Cass, the cruise website is looking really nice. One of these days I might email a photo of us. I'm just one of those really protective moms. I've been told I shouldn't post photos of my girls online. I don't do online banking either! Just old fashioned I guess! (And scared of the kooks out there!)

Tina, Tag was fun. I believe we all agreed on "just a couple bucks" for the dollar limit. For the most part my gifts were all the same depending on how many adults/kids there were in one cabin. Some cruisers were celebrating anniversaries and birthdays so I tried to be a little more creative with them.

Anyone planning on making any door magnets for the cruise? I made a few and had another DISer help me with a few more so every day I could switch them up. One day I'll find mine and post them.

I'd like to make door magnets but I'm still not sure how to go about doing it.

There were some really nice people on the last cruise who ended up making them for me. (thanks Nancy & Kevin... )

I'm going to make door signs. In the big thread there are a few links so you can print disney pictures and then I'll just add text. I'm going to make 7 - one for each day. I'll slide them inside one of those plastic sleeves and either blu-tac it or magnet the sleeve to the door, then just change the picture each day.

I have found a nice one of Donald all dressed up for formal night! and one of Captain Hook for Pirates night.

How organised are we! - 13 months away and we're already talking door signs!

Tag does sound fun. My only problem would be finding the space to put the gifts in the case! I'd have to think of something small

Andy made our magnets for our cruise a few years back, Halloween 2003. I still have it stuck on my fridge.

Nancy, did anyone swipe your door magnets? I've been reading alot of that happening lately! Shame shame on those who feel the need to just take what doesn't belong to them.

We got great "DING" specials from Southwest so we flew down in May, then again in August. We only drive to Florida now "if" we have no other choice. With my DW's hip and leg problem, that long drive talkes a lot out of her.

Believe it or not, I think I still have that Halloween magnet design saved in my Print Shop program, LOL!!!

Nope, no magnet swipers for us. Then again, most of them were personalized so it didn't make much sense to steal them.
