Good Morning
Yes it was me Chris. The 14 and 21 day passes expire after the 14th or 21st day so you cant use them on the next holiday even if you only use 8 or 9 days from them :sad2:

Karen - I know that WDW are about to change the tickets again - so if you have a limited time passes which you have yet to start using, you need to contact WDW and change them to unlimited time passes. Rick and I did this in September as we had purchased 7 day tickets which expired after 14 days of first use. We decided that as we weren't going to use them on this trip we paid to upgrade them so they did not expire. It did cost a bit though - about $50 per ticket.

Decisions, Decisions.... :scratchin :scratchin

Shhh Keep this to yourself but i thought Disney California was old and tired sorry and wasn't worth the 14 hour flight to see it either and don't start me off about universal the park is on 2 levels separated by 3 or 4 escalators which i found to be the scariest ride of the day.....

I do agree - I prefer WDW to Disneyland. We havent been for a few years and I know a lot has changed with the new park etc so I would like to go, but like you say that flight is a killer - well, actually I could turn into a killer by the time I get off :furious: I get bored bored bored so theres no way I'd drag my 6 year old all that way. Maybe when he's 7 :rotfl:

I quite like the Universal though - its wierd the way the jaws, kong etc are all joined into one ride

The last time we went we went to visit Walts grave and then the building with the gnomes holding the roof up (cant thin what its called), and then the Hollywood sign etc. Made a nice change :goodvibes

Well I just talked to Disney, and they do not have the dates set for the mnsshp for October of 2007. I am getting very anxious for our first cruise as well. So anxious, we paid our full balance today. We are going down Wednesday, and probably coming back Sunday. As for the count, we have three rooms booked. First room will be aunt, uncle, cousin, and his wife. Second room will be cousin, boyfriend, and their son. Third room will be my wife, daughter, father, and myslef. And for the record, we are all from Wisconsin. Menomonee Falls, Milwaukee, and Pewaukee.

Welcome aboard... I fully expect all of you Wisconsinites to be wearing your cheese-hats come October. :teeth:

Now am not saying oybolshoi likes her food but it could be prudent to get to topsiders before 6.30am to insure you get some breakfast..... :lmao:

ps...To any new comers oybolshoi "Let the Gluttony Begin" review is well worth a read, but not while eating or drinking as you'll spend more time cleaning your screen than reading.... :rotfl2:

No one needs to worry about Topsiders, I'm not really crazy about buffets. Your food is safe!! :teeth:

As for your second comment...do you mean that you are drooling on the computer screen or spewing at it? :lmao:

PS. Those food-chompin smileys are too funny! :rotfl2:

Greetings all!!

Sorry about stepping away for a few days. Two Christmas parties down, two to go. I had to take a break to get some more blood in my alcohol stream. :teeth:

Welcome to yet another Wisconsinite! Hello Chibben2003 and hello to another DISer from Menomonee Falls. That makes three of us from the fine Milwaukee Burb. I also believe we have evened out the UK/Wisconsin teams now. Chib, please introduce yourselves to us. We are constantly updating our roll-call.

Brenda, rather than wearing our cheesehead hats (too bulky) maybe we could all wear a jersey from our favorite "Winning Wisconsin Team". That would be .............. :confused3 . Ok, maybe I'll change that to "Wisconsin Team" and leave out the winning. We haven't been too lucky in that department lately. (Jeff, correct me plz if I'm wrong).

Jeff, I'll lay out $10.00 to see you run around deck 9 in your new DISsuit!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Go Jeff Go!!!

Geeez, those lunch hours pass by quickly.

Nancy, I suggest you simply all bow to the inevitable and wear St. Louis Cardinals paraphenalia. :teeth:

Nancy,

I think we'd be safe to wear Badger Red. The Bucks don't look too bad either. It's just our beloved Packers who stink. The surprising thing is, is that they may have a decent record by the end of the season. One that is DOES NOT reflect their play this year.

O.K. I got $10 from you plus Linda will put in $ for me to wear the suit for one pass around Deck 9. Then Karen is contributing for me NOT to wear the suit. Any other offers out there? Brenda, I will wear a cheesehead with it for the right price.

Here's a deal for everyone, I will wear the suit 1/2 around Deck 9 and then take it off for the second 1/2.

Chibben,

Welcome to the DIS. Looks like WI is now tied with the UK for the lead (unless we count by rooms, then we're in 1st). :cheer2:

You're not traveling with Firefighter Chris from Menomonee Falls are you? Don't want to count you twice. I remember him posting that he had multiple people traveling with them and I thought from the same cities.

Jeff

To my fellow Wisconsinites who already booked on Midwest, looks like there might be a chance you'll be on AirTran next fall.

Not sure if they will do a hostile take over or not. That wouldn't be good.

I just hope that if this does happen, we don't lose all the different non-stops from here. Although it would be a great hub for them to serve the midwest.

Our luck is they'll get Midwest more for the Kansas City or Omaha hubs and we'll have to connect there going west.

Hi all!

Jeff - I was just on my way to post about the possible AirTran/Midwest merger. Personally, I think mergers are not good for the customers. Where is the competition? You need competition to keep the prices down.

Welcome Chibben & family!

Well, I do believe all the gift shopping is complete! Hooray! Now I just have to get it all wrapped. Boo! That's actually what I told DH I was coming upstairs for, to wrap some presents. I figured I'd just check on our thread, when he comes into the room. DOH! I've been caught! ;)

 Welcome Chibben and family

That makes UK and Winsconsin 6 all - ok, I'll let you win so far on rooms :cheer2:

I feel a bit of U.K. recruiting coming on :rotfl:

I went to see Ellis in his nativity yeterday afternoon

Here's my little shepherd

Karen, Love the Pic!! And who said that dish towels serve only one purpose?? :lmao:

I particularly love the "Mickey Head" juice stain on his costume. :drinking:

Well, I survived Christmas party number 3 last night without telling anyone off. We went to a comedy Christmas Carol show after dinner. The bosses brother talked through the entire show!! :furious: What a jerk!! I wanted the shush him but the boss himself and his daughter were yapping through it too. Just shows their arrogance. :sad2: If you can already guess, I'm not too fond of my boss or his family. I felt sorry for his wife though. She is a sweetheart and I could see that she was bothered by it all too.

One more party on Saturday and then we're done except for the family visits on Christmas Eve and day. I look forward to those though. :Pinkbounc

Judy, I truly hope Air Tran doesn't take Midwest over. I love flying Midwest. What do you think will happen to our fantastic ticket purchases of a couple weeks ago?? :confused3

Yes I am firefighter Chris. The dis would not take my password, so I had to make a new profile. I am not sure what happened. Firefighter Chris and chibben2003 are the same. As for an introduction. My wife will be 26, daughter will be 6, and I will be 27. My dad will be 49. As four cousins, aunt, and uncle, I have no idea there ages. Just older than me except with my cousins son, he is about 12 I think. I am a firefighter/emt/hazardous materials technician for a Butler Volunteer Fire Department, so if anything happens, I will be there to handle it.. :cool1:

Welcome Chris and family... :teeth:

ps...Just to save on any confusion between "Chris's" if something was to happen while were aboard,i'll be the Chris in the life boat rowing like hell for the shore with the three life jackets on.....

Hi Chris and family, as you can see we are a weird and wonderful bunch of cruisers!!! :teeth: :wizard: :wizard: :teeth:

My Daughter Elouise will be 5, so may be your daughter and mine might hang out together in the clubs etc???? Elouise made friends with two lovely sister Kylie and Nicole who were 4 and 7 this Oct, they had a blast!

Off to school disco now, after 40 minutes of curling hair ( for her not me!!)
