October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 9

How far are you from Alexandria?

We are probably around 90miles or so from Alexandria. Why?

Do you take highway 20 to Mike's

Normally, I take Rte 29 to Rte 3 over to Mike and Missy's home near Frederickburg. They live probably 65 miles from us. With stoplights and traffic it takes about an hour and half. But, we could take Rte 20. That is just a two lane rural country highway with lots of farm traffic. (Sister):lmao:

We are dreaming of moving in the near future. I thought we could moce to Alexandria that way he could go into DC for work. But we are only dreaming.

He says why don't you take 231 to the 20 to the 3 into Frederickburg

Changing over laundry. Julia's blanket was in the wash and she won't go to bed with out it. You know how that is, I'm sure.

We are pretty lucky. Mac will sleep with just about anything. We took her stickey away tonight as a punishment, but as soon as she was done crying she picked a bunny and was fast to sleep.

It's late out here and I need to go get some sleep. I have to be up early tomorrow. Take Care.

Thats a good route too. I guess I just like to drive fast on the 4 lane hwys.

I just realized that one of the teachers I work with was on CC today. I hope she had a great trip. She is a single mom with a 6 and 3 year old (dh died 2 years ago). She bought DVC not to long after I did and used her points to take the girls to the MK on Sat. and then the Wonder Sunday. Can't wait for her to get back and hear her story.

Ahhh, I hope they have a great time. Our Castaway day seems like weeks ago:sad1:

Roll on 09:banana:

Speaking of '09 - Neil has worked out his shift pattern - yep:rolleyes: - he's opn nights shift on cruise week:mad: - that means officially he cant book any annual leave - his words were "well, I'll just have to work something out hten wont I!"

WOW! - his normal reaction would have been - "pick a different date"...he must really wanna be back on that ship with you folks:banana:

So who else is seriously considering that double dip in Oct 09? ITS THE ONLY THING THATS KEEPING ME SANE AT THE MOMENT IS THINKING I'M GOING BACK IN TWO YEARS:yay: - I'm excited already!:yay:

I havent even thought about what we'll do in '08 - it will have to be something in Europe:scared:

Anyway, have a great day everyone.

Good morning Karen

All six of us are seriously thinking of the Double Dip in Oct 09. The deposits have been placed and we are waiting for the new dates to come out. After we switch our dates, I'll transfer my ressie over to AAA (American Automobile Association) in January when they run their specials for onboard credits. Hopefully, I'll have another $350.00 credit. ($200/onboard booking and $150/AAA).

I'll also transfer some Rewards points over like Jeff did. We over-tipped our waitstaff and stateroom hostess because they were fantastic! I did have the cash put to the side but I think if I just used my credits, it wouldn't take away from my cash flow.

And, we are also placing a claim on Jeff and Suz. We want personal tour guides next time. After I saw all your pics, I think we really missed out on a lot.

Note to all: DO NOT do the Dune Buggy/Snorkel/Beach Party Excursion in Cozumel (if we go back that way). It was expensive, too time consuming, and just horrible!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this cruise will happen for us. I need a new car soon and Kristin and Jesse might be planning a wedding by then. Those two events will use up any extra cash we have on hand for vacations.

Gotta go buy those lotto tickets now. Talk to you soon..............
