Why is March Madness so popular every year?

Did the NCAA sprinkle anti-upset powder on the courts today? All the higher seeds are winning so far.
I thought you weren't watching. 🤣

I've found that EITHER Thursday OR Friday has the upsets. Not both. Since there were upsets yesterday, I'm not expecting many, if any, today.

I was watching but I had to turn if off with a minute left as my lunch break was over and I had to head back to work. But did any of those players that ran on the floor get a tech? Cause the game wasn't over. That should've been a technical on the team at least.
So on the Oweh shot that sent it to OT, it hit 00:00 while the shot was in the air. So when the players ran on the court it was the end of regulation and no technicals were assessed.

Now last week during the conference tournaments that did happen a couple of times when players ran out on the court when there was still time on the clock. They should've got Ts, but none were called.

It's been a long time, but I do miss when the courts just had the host team's logos and graphics on the court. This generic crap is boring!

First 2 days are done, and there were no real big upsets this year. Every 9 seed won, which is kind of unusual. Also, had a 10, 2 of the 11s and 1 of the 12s. No team seeded lower than 12 won a tournament game. So not much madness over the first 2 days. Lets see what the next 2 days hold. Who does everything the first No. 1 to fall will be? Judging from the first 2 days, it appears Duke might be the answer, and I'd be perfectly okay with that. Arizona, Florida and Michigan all looked really, really good.

Growing up in NC, watching ACC basketball was a religion. My grandmother would pray for Duke, literally, every game. But even when I lived n Nashville, the corporation I worked for almost came to a stop in my department at least. We had a mix of ACC and SEC rivalries. I went to an Elite Eight game in Memphis with my VP and his wife to see his Alma mater.

The most fun was staying at Ceasars in Vegas during the Final Four.

I was in high school when Duke won the 91 championship. Laettner, Hill, Brickey, Hurley….and Jeff Capel graduated high school same time as me in my city. His and my schools were rivals so saw him many times.

Good times ❤️

Both my son and I tore up our bracket sheets. I was hoping UCF would have won, they came back but not enough. Rooting for the Hurricanes and Gators!

I don't watch games anymore, but when I was younger I was a huge college basketball fan, so I get it. It is exciting to root for your team or Alma mater.
