Chris

Happy belated to Ryan and Rosie.

How old are they now? 13 or 14?

Hi Linda!
How are you doing?

I hope all has been ok. And that you'll be back in your home before the holidays.

We'll be seeing you soon:thumbsup2 :cool1:

No need to worry Paige. I also am "putting them together" on the cruise as they won't pack very well if they are all assembled. I think most people are doing that as well. I am working on the main ingredient of the prezzie now though so I can put them in bags when I get on the ship.

I think everyone is doing something different which I think is gonna make it a lot of fun!!! :woohoo: No worries, whatever you do will be fine ::yes:: Like MG says, it's supposed to be fun :cool1:

I think it'll be great! I am getting off pretty easy because the main part of mine is going to be "made" by my Rob or Emily.....:goodvibes

I do like a cup of coffee/Grande Latte when we're on holiday, and usually from Starbucks. Rick doesn't understand...he says coffee is coffee, and calls it my obsession. The coffee in Cove Cafe last Sept was quite horrible. I'm going to try it again this trip, as I only have decaff now, so it might be better. I did read a mention about a coffee card available on the ship. Can anyone enlighten me on the cost?

If the coffee is still horrible, I'll switch back to english breakfast tea, and sachets of Nescafe Latte's that I'll bring with me.

I didn't try their plain coffee but had a vanilla latte every morning and thought it was pretty good, not as good as Starbucks but still yummy:coffee:

I'm getting a little nervous about prezzies...I'm not putting mine together until I am on the ship! They'll take up too much space in the suitcase.....

Now I'm starting to get worried about mine....because I put mine together and it only took 1 1/2 hours. Yikes! Hope y'all aren't disappointed.

Although that doesn't include the time I spent shopping....

I'm actually planning to do a bunch of Christmas shopping on the cruise...souvenirs make good gifts! I'm going to get a Margaritaville t-shirt for my father in law in Key West - he's a big Jimmy Buffett fan....

What a great idea! - I hadnt even thought of that!

Karen and Chris,
Do you guys pre-clear US customs in Heathrow like we do in Calgary or do you have to go through customs when you land in FLorida???

We still have to "stay behind the line" on the carpet and present our passports etc when we are called up to the guy in he little booth in the US.
God I hate that part. They always ask me tons of questions and after a nine hour fliht I cant even rmember my name usually:lmao:

Karen and Robin, how are you girls feeling today?

Still barking like a sealion and I have a little man inside my head with a hammer and he's on overtime:rolleyes: Better than yesterday though - I at least got off the sofa today. Thanks for asking Rose:hug:

I'm dying to meet you - do you have a real new york accent? I love american accents - they're all so different.:goodvibes

Heather - what do we do re green cards and white cards that we fill in on the plane?

Do they stay in our passports or do we have to do more for going on the cruise?

Also, do you just use a photocopy of your passport as your photo id? I have a new style driving licence - would that be better?

Re my little project onboard ;) - if anyone wants to participate and take him to any events that you're doing onboard please just let me know. I want photos of you all with him so prepare to smile at each dis meet:goodvibes

Keep taking vitamin C and Zinc too! And tea with honey and a bit of brandy in it helps also!

No I don't have that New Yawka accent:laughing:
I talk pretty much like you hear our news people or celebs talk, plain English with no accent.

And can't wait to meet you too!:yay:

You know Karen, I'll bet Lynn doesn't have that accent either:confused3

Do you Lynn?

Geez Karen, guess you might have to travel there to hear it!
Unless we have any NJ people onboard? That's close.
Any of our KK'ers from Jersey?

I cant remember if I already mentioned this ...

Did you know you can link the photopass cards they hand out at the parks?

ie - if you wanted the cd you can link different card numbers and share the cost. I'm doing it with a group of dibbers whi are all travelling around the same dates, so instead of $120 for the cd - link rezzies with 3 others and get it for $40. The person its sent to then just makes 3 copies and posts it to you:thumbsup2

My family will also be traveling Oct 20th. We will be arriving early Oct 19th and we are staying at the MCO Hyatt. There is myself, DH, DS 9, and DD 5. This is our children's first cruise. I can't believe that it is almost here!!

Welcome - lots of kids those ages - for us, Vanessa will be 15, Spencer is 8 and Avery is 5. I am sure our kids will see each other in the clubs and by the pools
