I have a meeting after school with Ellis' teacher - a follow up from when he was tearful.

He goes in ok now, but he still doesnt like her. I think she's scared half the class actually. She told them she used to make the year 6 class cry last year - what a thing to say to a bunch of 6 year olds.

I'm trying to figure out how to word it so I dont sound awful...

How about..." My son cant stand you - you're a bully" - does that work

Now I'm sorted for the holiday I need to start planning something else

Christmas is next on my list.

I think I might write my prezzie list today. I only have one gift bought so far.

My other KK tshirt turned out good - I'll wear one on boarding and one for the wino session

I might wear it to castaway cay too so I can swim in it if I get a little sunburnt and it wont matter if I ruin it. Is everyone just dumping theres or keeping them?

I'm actually planning to do a bunch of Christmas shopping on the cruise...souvenirs make good gifts! I'm going to get a Margaritaville t-shirt for my father in law in Key West - he's a big Jimmy Buffett fan....

Since it's running so slow. I'll just put all my thoughts in one post.


Regarding how I'm feeling. Very Fatigued, but after a couple of weeks on thyroid meds, I shoud be ready for the cruise.

I've never had to take meds for anything and have gotten pounded this past week. Too much stress, I think.

Blood pressure, Water pills, thyroid meds. It sucks to get old.

Just think... We'll all be stress free in a couple of weeks.

I know how you feel...I was actually diagnosed with hypothyroid at age 12 - you will feel much beter when you get the meds working! Any ??'s feel free to PM me

It is funny. Kelsey is finally getting excited now. She asks question after question about the cruise. Now there is part of me that says I wish we surprised them instead of told them ahead of time.

I still have not told DS yet....I think I might this week. He gets so excited about things (he gets excited going for a haircut or to the dentist )so I think it will be fun. We've got the DVD from Disney that we're going to show him so he can kind of see what to expect...

LONG story haviong major hassle with insurance so no time for dissing. We leave next Wed so need to get them sorted before we leave !

Monte carlo was amazing beautiful and very very clean, but VERY expensive ! £15 for 2 cans of coke by our hotel pool !


BRENDA when do you go on holiday I PROMISE to E mail you, within the nex few days, I dont have my plans with me at present! I know I cant do Epcot on the 17th as we are in IOA. What about when we arrive Thu 11th in the evenign at our hotel All stars Movies, we alreay have another meet that night. so I KNOW where we are for that evening !

Only 2 busses from the Hyatt? YIKES, with all those people last time I thought they would've needed at least 4 or 5. Maybe things have changed for the better since 2005.

I've already got that one scoped out Steve. Just get off the Hyatt elevator, a sharp right and Starbucks is right there!

You guys always scare me into less sleep when you talk about "all those people" Maybe there are more busses. Truth is, I'll never know because I am determined to be on the first one with my fellow DISers!

My family will also be traveling Oct 20th. We will be arriving early Oct 19th and we are staying at the MCO Hyatt. There is myself, DH, DS 9, and DD 5. This is our children's first cruise. I can't believe that it is almost here!!

We are also arriving on the 19th and staying at the Hyatt also. It will be me, DH, DD 12, DS 11, DD 5. Welcome to the group.

I liked Relationship Rescue but that is because it had to do with things that were pertaining to my life at that time. They are all worth it.

No Prob. I'm not much of a coffee drinker, and I have rarely even stepped inside a Starbucks. Once one of the paramedics brought me a chocolate coffee drink from there that was almost like liquid candy. (it was a particularly nasty shift and they felt I needed something to take comfort in) I told my co-workers that I now understand how they are all hooked on the stuff. It was very good.

I do like a cup of coffee/Grande Latte when we're on holiday, and usually from Starbucks. Rick doesn't understand...he says coffee is coffee, and calls it my obsession. The coffee in Cove Cafe last Sept was quite horrible. I'm going to try it again this trip, as I only have decaff now, so it might be better. I did read a mention about a coffee card available on the ship. Can anyone enlighten me on the cost?

If the coffee is still horrible, I'll switch back to english breakfast tea, and sachets of Nescafe Latte's that I'll bring with me.
