Guess I'm feeling a little sappy here today, but here it goes anyway...


Since some of us are lucky enough to be leaving for vacation soon and before I forget, I just want use up another post to acknowledge and thank our group of KK’s:

Steve: The Ellusive Thread Creator (Although not ‘Ellusive’ anymore) for starting our thread and all your helpful info and insight.

Jeff: Beefcake for all your work with the bracelets and trusting us for payment, the Yahoo polls you did for us, the Yahoo tables you set up, and your assistance on the ever changing Y site. I also don’t want to forget to thank you for all the help you’ve given all of us with your never ending links.

Karen: Sresiurk Deknok for all your work and continued support on keeping Yahoo straightened out for us.

Linda: Lindy Loo Hoo (Ms. Lush) for getting the Wine Tasting started and especially to Paige and Lurking Lynn for taking it over for me.

Cass: mmmmmbop, for creating our thread logo, our t-shirt transfers, personalized avatars, links, files, computer assistance, and our official Mascot, Kira. (Oh yeah, thank Rob for that one too).

Brenda: One-legged-Bewb-Flashin-For-Freebies-No-Pants-Wearing Brenda: For naming us the Konked Kruisers and for your endless entertainment in your Trip Reports. Still wish you could join us. I’ll miss you friend. Thanks for trusting us with Plankton. He will be safely returned to you in November.

And for the rest of you who made this thread a nice place to escape to in the last few months (years for some of us). We have gone through a lot here haven’t we? Births, illnesses, deaths, parents, kids, natural disasters, car accidents, home wreckers,, a wedding, moves, birthday’s, and anniversaries. Quoting Carole King: “I get by with a little help from my friends”.

I myself have made friendships here, some of which I hope will last forever. I hope many of you did too and can echo my sentiments.

Nancy, that was so sweet! I ditto everything that you said!

Thanks to the BEST Mother Goose we could ask for!! You have done SO much work for us. All the time and effort you put into the KK site, THANK YOU!!! If I hadn't been busy with my lil pincess I would have been more help. You have helped every single person on here and never asked for anything in return. You have organized our DIS tag, answered a million questions about it, made tables and chart and lists for all of us just so that we can have a little extra fun onboard. I can't wait to partake in all the fun!! TAG you're it!!

You were always the first to ask how everyone was and first to offer help when a KK needed it. I think you had better prepare yourself for tons of hugs!!!

I'm trying not to take my passporter cos its heavy - just want the deck plans from pages 3, 4 and 5 but I havent got a scanner. Can I pick a plan up onboard?

We have always been happy with the Christmas cards we've had made on the ship. We usually use one of the pictures from formal night. They have a number of different card "backgrounds" to choose from.

Cool, we'll probably do formal night then.

I'm getting organised - cameras are charged and ready to go with extra memory cards too.

I have:

A sheet of things still to pack

A sheet telling me what I'm wearing every evening of the cruise

A sheet telling me where we're going and doing every day of the cruise and what time I'm doing it

A sheet with everyones name ready for distag

A sheet with everyones face on - courtesy of cass's website

And last but not least



A sheet reminding me of my name incase the excitement gets to me

Nice. Very organized. I tip my had to you. I'll not start list making until the cruise docs come in. I may be able to convice my wife that it's all for real then.

Yes, I second that Nancy. While I may have started this thread, you have been the glue that held it together especially during the early period when the cruise was far off.

I really have enjoyed getting to know all of you and really look forward to meeting IRL. This cruise would have been a blast regardless, but you all will make it a truly unique and wonderful occasion.
