October 20th 2007 Western Magic Part 7

WOW I just checked DCL's site for our cruise and it doesn't even bring our cruise up. I did a search for 7 night Western in Oct. 07 and the only cruise that it brings up is the Oct. 6 and it has categories 4,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 available for that cruise. Interesting. The cabin we booked is still listed on our confirmation page.

We have the same room too, but even if they give upgrades out I won't expect one due to booking just a couple of months ago.

So what comments did you come up with?

Since we have talked about the cruise for the last 3 years I am kind of seeing how much she retained of us talking about. I asked very silly questions like what seat do you want on the plane, what bed do you want on the ship, what color are the life boats on the ship, who does the wake up call, do you plan on spending time with mommy and daddy.

I figure each night I will post the question and then her answer. I think there might be some interesting answers.

Sorry no picture of our weekend tonight. I have them all upload to the computer and they ones that needed to be croped are croped. Now I am uploading them to snapfish so I can order my prints. I am to tired to wait for them to upload to photobucket and post them tonight. I will try again tomorrow.

I always thought I was unique but in recent years I have realized that a lot of people are like that. I try not to be too analy about it in front of the kids as I dont want them to be like that too.

Hubby Rob eats like that too, one food at a time! Drives me NUTS :lmao:

Ok, so I'm not the only one watching Biggest Loser? Yeay!
I'm watching it too, but I have it DVR'ed so I'm less than halfway through....

I watch it too! :woohoo: It TOTALLY makes you NOT want to eat any junk food :thumbsup2 :lmao:

I still haven't gotten my smiles to move. The bad thing is... I'm rather anal and I don't quit until I find a solution. So needless to say...

I'M GOING CRAZY!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hmm, ok, I will ask again...did you check your advanced internet options on Explorer under the tools menu? I don't THINK you answered that but I could have missed it

Think I might have already told our story about how we met, maybe like back on page 127??? :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: (long story coming!)

I was actually engaged at the time (it was never gonna happen and I had been "trying" to get out of the relationship for a long time but it was complicated. This guy brought my self-esteem to an all-time low, at the time I didn't feel like I deserved any better.

He used to watch sports ALL the time. Back then I loved sports too! But as the years passed, that's all he ever did. He came home, parked his butt on the couch and didn't move till bedtime. IF I managed to get him to go out, he would tape like 3 games then watch them when we got home. My life revolved around sporting events. And I don't mean just the big ones like Superbowl or World Series.

So near the end of 1995, I joined a BBB (kind of like a computer chat group but it was local, the internet was in it's infancy, hardly anyone chatting globally back then). I joined it to play trivia and just to chat with people as I was pretty lonely since by 1995 I learned to hate sports. I NEVER joined to meet people. But they did have meets, once a week. In March of 1996, at the very LAST minute on a total WHIM, I decided to go to one. Rob was the third person I met at the meet. He was wearing a Tigger hat, a Tigger shirt and a Disney Gang Jacket :cloud9:  There was a hypnotist at the bar that night and he was chosen for it so he was onstage for about an hour and the whole time I couldn't take my eyes off him. I even remember telling myself "Cass! Quit staring at him!!!" I had no idea why I couldn't take my eyes off him.

Kismet.

Everything that happened that night was SO NOT ME. I felt almost like someone was guiding me (thanks Big Guy! :thumbsup2 )

We started dating April 17th and were married exactly 30 months later :rolleyes1

Side note: When I left the ex, he was apparently devastated. SOB STORY right? I guess he was so devastated, he went to a party the night I left (to be consoled I was told) and he slept with someone (all the while still begging me to come back for weeks! HA!) later married said hussy and had a baby with her and is now divorced (for the 2nd time) and now calls his (second) ex-wife a total nutjob :rolleyes1

YEAH ROB!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, you can now dust off your shoulders, I am off for the night :wave2:

I am off for the night. I have a nice clean bed that is calling my name. I love the first night on clean sheets. I sleep so good, that I would love to change my sheets on a daily basis.

Good night everyone.

We're ok with it too. I'm up before the sun comes up, so we're not in the room that much anyway. Put it this way, when we're done cruising, we need a vacation to get some rest. Party, Party, Party. :) Plus we just got that extra $200 discount. :thumbsup2

We were right next to the engine room last time. :rotfl: It was pretty loud, but it lulled us to sleep.

We tend to make the best of everything. We're easy. ;)

I was pretty happy about being a part of that!

Guess I will leave you tonight with a pic and a story.

Awesome story Cass. I love it!

BTW, You had to be pretty happy about BB tonight!

WELL DONE

Off to snuggle with my tiny guy!! (That's my younger son--not a disparaging comment about my husband!! :lmao: )

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Just checked DCL's site for our cruise. The ONLY categories available are 11 and 12. They were all there over the weekend.

When we were upgraded for our Jan 2006 cruise, everyone's room number disappeared from their ressie online. Check your ressies to see if your room number has changed or is missing. When the numbers came back, many people were upgraded.

I can't see DCL selling out that many rooms in two days, especially at those categories.

This was about the time (4 1/2 weeks prior) that the upgrades happened. They need to do it before the docs get printed/mailed, which will be in the next couple of weeks.

Hopefully there will be good news for some of you.

Or, our ship just got really full.

I'm in a cat 11..does that mean I have no chance of an upgrade:confused3 - not too bothered. I like where I am.

Happy Anniversary Cheryl and Al
