Not quite as good as a PS3 though is it:rotfl:

Nope the graphics are all wrong and the user interface leaves much to be desired.

You should come to AZ for the summer heat. At least you guys cool down some at night. We don't it is a true desert summer.

Ick! I am grateful for the cool nights. I would absoultely melt if I spent any great amount of time in AZ. I did love it when I visited about 6 years ago. Some phenomenal sights!

How do you keep your white appliances from yellowing. I am noticing that the edges of my toaster oven are starting to yellow. I can not remove it so I don't know what caused it or anything. I am assuming heat is causing it because my micro did the same thing after DD caught it on fire. Any suggestions on how to remove it?

I just had to sit down and tell DD that we are going to Ethans funderal today and of course she asked how he died so I told her. Her responce was "that is why I don't want to swim mommy, I could die".

None of my white appliances have turned yellow and we've had most of them since we built this house (nearly seven years). And all of mine are white - dishwasher, stove, microwave, and refrigerator. My toaster is white, too, and it hasn't yellowed.

And I don't clean them with bleach, either. Just water and a spritz of Windex now and then.

Now my floor is a different story ... the white lineoleum is turning yellow from daily exposure to the sun. It drives me crazy because no matter how clean it really is it still looks dirty. We're going to replace it with stone or terra cotta tile next year.

My floors are just as bad. The house is 6 years old and the lineoleum is rolling on the edges and then the dogs nails have put holes all over it. So no mater how clean it is there are all these black spots from the dog. Once a hole starts I can never get the dirt out of it.

House is a clean as it is going to get and we are dressed and ready to go with 20 minutes to spare. Luckly this family does not know the meaning of dressing nice for things like this so I do not have to worry about doing makeup and hair and we are outside so I just put on a light weight black dress, not very funeral apporpraite because it is above the knee but again this family does not care. The only dark dress I had for Mac was a deep purple but it is a thicker material so she might get hot real quick.

What are you all doing with your free day tomorrow? Anything exciting?

Heather

PS - Someone might be able to answer this one - some years ago I picked up on an american saying about not wearing white/white shoes after labour day. Anyone know what this refers to?

This was said because it was not considered fashionable to wear white shoes after labor day. It was a fashion No no. Not the case anymore.

This is my first time ever on the DCL though I go to WDW at least once a year. I'm traveling with my sister, her husband (who has never been to WDW, Disneyland or the DCL before-we are trying to break him in gently) and our mom.
I'm so excited-I can't wait!! But since we just booked, I feel soooo behind. WDW is like my second home & I know it like the back of my hand. I'm going to be like a fish out of water on this cruise!!!

Welcome. Feel free to jump right into the conversation. The way you feel about WDW, I feel about DL. After going to WDW for the first time last year, I envy you, your familiarity with it. Airfare significantly increases the cost of WDW for us, so we'll have to limit our trips. But I really would like to go there every year.

Okay, your mission is to convince my wife of this. She hates her lino and wants laminate. I would like to something like terra cotta. Haven't been able to change her mind though.

hi evry1 heading out on the Oct. 20th cruise to Key West, Grand Caymen, Cozumel, & of course Cast Away Cay :cool1:
3 in party Ddad Dmom and D daughter, DD is 11 and we were hoping to find some similar cruisers ...looks like we found 'em lol Yes we're cast away's having been twice before. Feel like old timers, but we're soooo excited about the trip. We're also gonna spend a day at WDW before the cruise ( We know not nearly enough time) and we were wondering if there were any good suggestions out there to maximize our 1 day. It will be our Daughters 1st trip to WDW and we wanted to make it as special as possible with the limited time available to us ...There's my plea help Super Dad out folks, don't let me go down in flames here

Some say that Magic Kingdom is for little kids but I say that it is the place to go if you are only there for one day. It is the "most disney" of all the parks. It's great for kids of all ages, too!

Welcome to the cruise! This is my first cruise with Disney as well. But I'm confident that it will be a memorable time for all of us.

Hi everyone!

Welcome to all the new cruisers! Like Steve said, feel free to just jump in! We're all a super friendly bunch, and a very chatty bunch sometimes too! I'll go a few days without reading, then come back, and easily more than 100 new pages have been posted. It's impossible to keep up! I expect it to just get busier as we get closer! We'll be more and more excited!

Did some serious shopping today. DH has an interview coming up in a week, so we bought him a new suit. Figured he can always use it on the cruise too! He looks so handsome in it!

Paid off our Poly stay before the cruise. Getting down to the wire here! Woo-hoo! :woohoo: Won't be too much longer! Can't wait!
