Cass, who was the sweetheart who sent you the roses you have on your kitchen table??

That would be my sweetie, he buys me so many flowers I have to tell him to STOP :rolleyes1

Ok, stop by later, gotta get my girl a snack. Night everyone!

Nancy what channel is the Sound of Music on? I love that movie too but for some reason Rachel doesn't like it so when I see it's on she always says do w ehave to watch that? I could put it on the TV here at work and watch it here :)

What's everyone doing tonight? I'm watching The Sound of Music for the 40th time. :rotfl2:

It's my favorite musical and Kristin played the part of Marta in her high school play. We watch it all the time. Funny, we saw the broadway production of the SOM with Barry Williams (Greg Brady)as the captain a few years ago. I loved it but Kristin was too busy making fun of the actors to notice how good it really was.:lmao:

Later Cass.:)

Cheryl, do you do all kinds of ultrasounds? I've had a few myself and a few "uncomfortable" ones. Wink-wink. I suppose patients ask you a ton of questions because they don't want to wait for the Dr to speak to them, huh?

Channel 17, The Family channel

Yes we do all kinds of ultrasounds, except some of the vascular ones and we don't do breast ultrasounds because we have a seperate breast center. People do ask lots of questions we try and answer what we can but we're not allowed to give any results.

Oh good we get that here at work

Do they have cable in the patients rooms? The last time I was hospitalized (1984) all we got were channels 4,6 or 12. That's it! And I had to pay extra to get the tv!:rotfl2:

I'm thinking of getting one of the suitcases from the basement tomorrow and starting a little packing.

I think I'll have one whole suitcase with just junk in it! My DIStag gifts will be in my carryon because I'm nervous that the airline will lose the bag if I don't carry them myself.

We'll be the only family at the Port with a regular sized carry-on, a smaller bag, Chuck's c-pap and my camera bag. I haven't figured out how to travel light yet.:rotfl2:

Cheryl, on the SOM I'm watching the part where the children are learning how to sing. Funny part is that Liesel was already singing with Rolf about a half hour ago. Now she looks all interested in learning how to sing herself?:lmao:

This is what happens when you watched the same movie too too many times.:rotfl2:

They have limited satelite in the patient rooms and waiting rooms. we all chipped in together and bought a TV, VCR, DVD player that we kept locked in the cabinet in the room we sleep in when we are on-call and we get satelite on there too and we now have a small flatscreen TVin the ultrasound waiting room which is just outside our office where I am sitting now.

Nancy I'm putting our DIStag gifts in a carry-on too. Now that we can't pack all the bottled toiletries in the carry-on we have more room in our carry-ons anyways. We haven't figured out how to travel light either in fact last year when my brother-in-law picked us up to take us to the airport he made a not so nice comment about all the luggage we had. I had to explain to hime we had clothes for during the days, dress clothes for dinner and pirate costumes for pirate night, all the essentials for a fun Disney cruise ;) This year maybe I will ask a different sister to give us a ride to the airport! We are trying to pack lighter though because we share a mini-van with Lynn and Chris when we get to FL and it is always a challenge fitting the 5 of us and all our luggage in the van. Al has to get very creative with packing the van at Avis :goodvibes

Gotta go now. The ER just called and I must do some work now. I'll try and check in again later.
