And Sean, Bob and I are off to Captain Marvin's to snorkel and visit Stingray City!

I think some other KK'ers were going too?

We've got the 10am slot, half day with 3 stops....

Here's my son Sean with Captain Marvin:

Question about Captain Marvin's....do you know if there's an age restriction for Stingray City? I know we can't do any of the stingray excursions with DS because he's 4, and the excursions for 5 and up...

Hello Steve, btw i got to speak with Lindy loo but only briefly last week and still i managed to put my foot in my big gob with something like "wow Lindy you sound so young and you have a southern accent",d'oh hello why wouldn't she that's where she's from you thick Muppet...:rolleyes1 She said to say thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers and that she and Wayne and Eloise are so looking forward to cruising with us all...Oh and that she's paying for my beer all week ....:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks for the idea on cleaning the bathroom. While I was up doing her hair I started cleaning ours. Boy you can see counter now but I still need to clean the counter, sweep and mop. I guess that will be today's task after I get home from work.

How in the world to kids manage to wear their toothpaste. Mac just came down and it is on the side and back of her shirt.

Well we are off to work and school. Kelsey should be home when we get home today so we will see what she is up to.

Heather thank you for the card:hug: and the print outs off the dis tag etx, what a help they will be.... normally I am such a planner and list person, but to be honest the holiday is kind of sneaking up on me, and im not ready for it... well im ready for the sun, sand, drink etc... just not the distag gifts, ironing etc... Nice to speak to you too :) as for work having a big phone bill... :confused3 I know nothing ;) ;) ;) :rotfl:

Lindy loo don't worry about DIS Tag am sure people wound understand,if there's anything at all we can help you with you only have to ask dear...:)

A couple of incredible things here. 1) He finished in a bit over 3 hours! WOW whenever I go to a house to fix something, It ends up being an ordeal. The amount of crud that gets loaded on computers is astounding! Besides, it seems to me that no one updates their OS or Drivers. And chances are, if they have 30 things to DL and install, they are using Dial-up. :scared1:
2) He only charged $70! Probably overjoyed at having only spent 3 hours.

Good for you, good for him!

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements. I was used to using the Corel product (I can't remember the name) It was so easy to use, but It would not work with WinXP (older program and I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on a program that I wouldn't like. So I wandered aimlessly looking for something until I got a free version of Elements. It's very full featured, so there is a bit of a learing curve.

I also have elements, an older version, but Sean downloaded me a newer free edition.... I keep telling him I don't need it because I already can't handle all the features in my old one:rotfl2:

Steve, watch out for my son Sean17 on our cruise....
you're so very computer literate/knowledgeable like his is
and that is about all that my son EVER talks about!

He drives us insane:scared1:
I keep trying to get him to talk about just about anything else but he always changes the subject.

He's read some of your posts already and he's interested.
He wonders if you play any games online.

He's just finished building his own computer with the money he's made from his job and from birthday gifts and money.

Anyway....
BE VERY CAREFUL AROUND SEAN ON THE CRUISE!
HE MIGHT BECOME YOUR STALKER!

Hi Linda,

How are you doing?

What's going on?

Where are you staying?

Is your insurance paying for everything?

Did you loose much?

Sorry for all the questions.....

$70.00 for 3 hours! Dirt cheap - lucky you!

Fortunately, I married a computer geek...otherwise I'm not sure I'd even own one!

Me too--we have four in our basement--1 for each of us--terrible!!! :confused3

Interesting!

I just observed co-workers and friends and noticed that the Republican ones tended to drink Coke and the Dems... Pepsi.....
perhaps the coloring is some subliminal choice?

Also I thought about that Coke is the older/original cola product
Pepsi.... is the "new generation"

LIke I said..... doesn't always hold true, I just really like to people watch and try to guess things about them.
Bob thinks I'm crazy and unfair to do this, that you can't judge like that, but
hey.... it's just a fun quirky thing I do, don't strictly stick to it, I know that everyone is different.

Rose--this has been freaking me out ever since I read your theory. I am a die-hard Coke fan--Pepsi is way too sweet--and I don't want to be lumped into your categories. :scared1: (Wisconsin is usually a Blue State!!)

That's quite an accomplishment building his own:cool1:

I've been building my own since the mid '90's. I just can't seem to get into store bought computers.

Let Sean know that I am an Avid computer gamer. I live for the First person shooters. but have been known to play a RPG or two. Haven't every gotten into Warcraft but have played online with Toontown. (Got into that because my son wanted to play, then wanted to play with someone.) Lately, I have been playing Counterstrike Source. I've gotten a morbid fascination with the Zombie Mod servers. I play as cannonfodder. I'm getting ready for the Left4Dead game that should be coming out in Nov/Dec.

I've been to both ShowDownLan's in San Jose. but I have to miss the one coming up in Pittsburg this Sept. (Cruise funds come first!) If he ever has a chance to go to one of these, tell him they are crazy fun. 3 solid days of gaming with some of the biggest computer geeks in the nation.

He can come on over and talk to my DH...he's a big computer geek, and he plays some games online too! He has also built several computers on his own...he can usually do it cheaper that way.

Oh, I can't find the post again, but thatnks, Steve, for the suggestion. I will look for that program online.
