Here's a loser for you, I'm down to 187. 2 lbs from my goal! (85kg with 1kg to go for those of you who are on the metric system.) I'm thinking that I need to revise my goal to less than 185, that way when I gain weight on the cruise I come up to my goal!!!!

Good for you Steve. The trick now is to maintain the weight loss.

O.K. since it appears you don't want to do the menu thing I'll let it drop.

Just kidding. Since the popular rotation is APL, I will do them in that order.

And since today is Saturday, our first day, we will start today and follow the week.

Next post will be the menu. I will use the Menu listed on Castaway Club, so I am not taking responsibility for any differences in offerings.

Ok I need some advice.
I have 2 reservations for rental cars, 1 with Avis and 1 with Budget. The one with Avis is $30 cheaper than budget. I see a lot of people love to use budget because it is the closest, but is it worth the $30 extra dollars?

Thanks, Rob. They'll check that out for sure. Wow, you sure have a lot invested. It sounds like you really enjoy it! :)

Yeah, the kids smiles make it all worthwhile actually. Doing the children's hospital in 2005 after Episode 3 opened was fantastic. They told us after seeing 80+kids that about 7 of them wouldn't be around by the end of the summer, it was very sad to know but they all got to have pictures with Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and the only CloneTrooper in Alberta; that was worth everything.

HEY! We have your ressie # bucko, and I just might have to make a small dining request on your behalf....:rolleyes1

"Yes, DCL..Hi, this is Robin Dyer...my husband has this thing about his food. All of his food MUST touch each other for ALL meals. If it doesn't he WILL make a huge scene and disrupt the entire dining room so could you please, whatever he orders, just mush it all up together and serve it on a very small plate so that you cannot even see the plate beneath the food. Thanks!"

:rolleyes1 :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Ewwwwwwwwwwww.... that is so nasty. Then he will say, Oh my wife is a vegetarian...

I would actually pay more to go with Avis. The shuttles run more often and the lines inside move quicker. Budget only has one cashier, Avis has at least 2.

Each time we used Budget, it took so long to get in and out of there.

With Avis, the time was always half or less than what we've experienced with Budget.

We won't even look at Budget anymore for our cruise car rental.

On the backside, if you are in Avis' Preferred group, they have everything waiting for you. We are in Budgets, but you still have to wait in the line to get your car.

There will be people here who are firm Budget customers, but this has just been my experience.

We are non smokers...

I used to smoke... how many non-smokers were smokers?

I'm a little (okay a lot) weirded out right now. We got our first RSVP from Dave's side of the family yesterday, from his Aunt Vicki.

We got a call at 7:30 this morning that she passed away last night. :scared1:

I don't know when all of the funeral arrangements are going to be yet. All I know is that his mother was hysterical when she called us.

Does anyone know which day we're doing the wine tasting yet? I know I put Dave and my names on the list, I'm thinking I'll just cancel the couple's choice on Tuesday if it's that day... I'm just hoping it's before 3:30 on Thursday lol!

My picks from Animator's Palate:

App: Nothing.
Salad: Caesar Salad
Main Course: Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon with Seafood-filled Pastry Shell but with the green beans and smashed red skin potatoes
Deserts: Boston Cream Pie and Peanut Butter Pie please :D

If you are using Cruiseline Formalwear, I've always used inches with them. Not sure if they will convert for CM. You may want to email them.

If you can convert to inches, then I would just to be safe.
