Here are my choices:

No Appetizer from this Menu

Creamy Butternut Squash Soup
garnished with Chives and drizzled with Sour Cream

Veal Chop encrusted with Parmesan and Herb Crust
with Sweetcorn Risotto, Asparagus Spears, Cherry Tamoatoes on Red Wine Reduction

-or-

Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon with Seafood-filled Pastry Shell
with a Rock Shrimp, Crabmeat, Tomato and Feta Cheese Ragout

Double-Fudge Chocolate Cake
with Chocolate Sauce

I can't decide between the Veal or the Filet. I've had the Salmon, so I will go with something different. I think I've had the Veal before, so I might go with the filet. Suz will probably go with the Filet, however, so I could get a taste of it.

Is anyone interested in doing a recipe exchange. I am trying to get motivated to cook at home at least 6 nights a week, but I am sick of all the stuff I normally cook:sad1: I need some new ideas.

I have a few recipes I like. They're mainly "healthier" recipes (since I've been doing Weight Watchers a long time. PM me if you want:)

Jen

I was cutting you off at the pass Jeff, all you slim people you...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

ps...Have you been over to pirate land lately?..:rolleyes1

Slim people? We're Americans. I think we are the "thickest" people of any country.

I went over to "pirate land" on the "one-year out" date to see what was being talked about. It was cool seeing the pictures of the Magic leaving LA back in 2005.

Can you believe it is less than a year now?

Here are Suz' picks:

Baked Stuff Tomato
with Vegetable Rice and Monterey Jack Cheese

Confetti Tomato Salad
with Yellow Teardrop Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Olive Oil and Herb Dressing

Bacon wrapped Filet Mignon with Seafood-filled Pastry Shell
with a Rock Shrimp, Crabmeat, Tomato and Feta Cheese Ragout

Boston Cream Pie
Light Sponge Cake filled with Vanilla Pastry Cream

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Shhhh don't say that!!! Rob's family REALLY REALLY want to swim with the dolphins!!!

I personally couldn't care less. Another frikken HOT Mexican port, yeah it's all the same to me :rolleyes1 Just another place to get a second degree burn :scared:

I'll take SPF 3000 for $200 Alex!!

Cass...I'm glad I'm not the only one who'll be bathing in sunscreen! When DH and I went to Playa de Carmen in 2001, I had to buy an spf 70 at the gift shop, because my spf 30-45 didn't cut it!

I also found (this is geeky ) a jar of zinc oxide that's supposed to go on clear, and I bought it for the cruise:rotfl2:

Don't get him started on Star Wars....he will be here all night typing :rolleyes1 :lmao:

By the way...for the record...my DH is also a HUGE Star Wars fan...and I'm a fan too.

If we had enough room in our luggage to bring along our Star Wars Trivial Pursuit, we could have quite a fun challenge!

I have a question......about the Grand Cayman Pirate excursion.

I saw that a bunch of you were doing the 8:15 excursion.

We're doing the 10:15. Is anybody else on that one?

I am so excited. We went to Savers this morning and I found a zip up binder and some different shape sleeves so I can make my own scrap book organizer. I think in total I spent $8 for the whole thing.

Thanks for the wonderful idea Cass.

Wouldn't be this early, but here's a question for y'all:

If you got upgraded, would (or could) you keep it from your family?

Not let them know until you get on the ship.

I think I could...at least from the kids. Rob knows me too well; he would know that something is up. Wishful thinking for me to get an upgrade since we are in a cat 4 (there are 5 of us)--not that I'm not happy with it. In fact, we liked our room so much last time that we have booked the exact same room--last time on the Wonder and this time on the Magic!
