77 to go....who's going to get it then?

I bet you lot will wait til us UK'ers are all tucked up in bed and then sneek a crafty post or two (or 77):goodvibes

Heather,

I do WW points too... however, I think I will leave my points calculator and books home for the cruise ;)

Jen

Yes, mine will be left at home too, but I've done WW for so long now that I end up choosing the healthy choice instead of the 'naughty but nice' choice.

Heather

Hi Sandy,

Hope you have a good week too.

Stop by and chat with us if you get a chance during the week.

Thanks, I'll try and do that :teeth:

I just posted a thread about non-alcholic drinks on the ship that would be good for me to drink (outside of "virgin" items and sodas). I have ocular rosacea, and if I drink alcohol I wake up the next day with what looks like a terrible case of pink eye:eek: If any of you have any suggestions on what would be good, please let me know - thanks!!!!

It does get to be a habit, doesn't it? ;)

Although, I figure if I'm swimming, snorkeling, acting like a pirate: , etc. I can at least look at the desserts! :yay:

Difficult though it may be for some people on this thread to believe, I have been known to drink beverages of a non-alcoholic nature.

Two of my cruise favorites are...

The Mochaccino!!! Served at the Cove Cafe... coffee, ice cream, whipped cream...it might be the closest thing to non-alcoholic nirvana in a cup I've ever tasted. ;)

Any fruity frozen beverage served at a bar - just ask them not to include the alcohol and you'll have a nice refreshing cool beverage without the booze. :thumbsup2

i must say we enjoyed being canadians for a couple of days.:thumbsup2
NO GUNS and we had a national health care plan. :thumbsup2

YEAH Canada.

Its funny, we think that there are too many guns but I know its nothign compared to big american cities. Toronto has almost 3 million people and we still only have about 100 murders a year.

And we do have a national health care plan but a lot of private places are opening up as people dont want to wait. So if you have money you can get things done faster.

....friendly people, pretty sights, high exchange rate, no baseball teams....

what are you saying - we have the Toronto Blue Jays - at least they better still be there as last night I bought tickets to go and see them on August 21st. (LOL)

our dollars are almost at par with each other. My parents talk of the days when the Candian dollar was higher than the US$. I dont remember that. but the cruise has got a lot cheaper for us as our dollar has been doing well. WOO HOO. it will drop again soon as too many canadian busniesses are suffering as its harder to get the american consumers with our dollar almost at par.

Robin here...

Ok, is anyone else with me? It's been 7 months and I still haven't lost any weight. ( You know that weight that I was going to "lose for the cruise") :guilty:

It's been slow going but I have lost 16 pounds so far, I would like to lose 14 more before we leave on vacation. I've been stuck at this weight for 3 weeks now, can't wait to get over this plateau! ::yes:: Still chugging away on my elliptical and have since added 4-5 1-hour walks with Kira every week. It sure has been nice these past few days, it's really cooled down here, makes it easier to go for my walks!

nancy.. mother goose... will you and chuck be ready on aug 22nd? robin and i will pick you guys up on the way out to cass and robs to help them move. tell chuck to bring his back brace because i think they have a lot of heavy stuff. :scared:
if we pick you guys up on the 22nd that should give us plenty of time to get there by the 26th. that is moving day, right cass?:confused3

Yup, 26th is the big day...make sure you guys get here by 1pm please, that's when we are starting :rolleyes1 We have two big trucks so we just need the bodies to do all the lifting. Mike, you're in shape right??? :yay:

....friendly people, pretty sights, high exchange rate, no baseball teams....

High exchange rate??? Hmm, been awhile since you've been up here huh?? As nice as it's going to be for us come October, this exchange rate SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Rob gets paid in US $$$$, you know what he gets on that??? 1.013 on last payday I think!! :headache: When we honeymooned in Disneyland, it was 1.4!!!!!!!!

the waitress at perkins in canada drew a little heart and put an x and o on our bill. do you think she thought i was cute or did she just want a larger tip?
be honest, i can take it. :scared:

Actually, Mike...you took it the wrong way totally!! I think those x's and o's were for Robin. She has amazing...personality! :rotfl:
