I know what you mean about the DVC! I understand that they are thinking of building a DVC resort in Anaheim. That makes it very tempting for me, however, Our pocketbook wouldn't survive that hit.

we had asked years ago about the dvc but we always used to visit 2 weeks in the summer and the prices quoted were for 1 week. we were told, you could always buy a 2nd week. ha ha. thanks but no thanks. maybe when the lottery gods shine on me.

thank goodness the D-backs are still holding to slim lead. The talk is that being as young as they are. They are not expected to do good for a couple of years. Boy I wish professional sports was like the real life work force. Hey boss I am not working today because I am still young and I want to do better in a coulple of years. Or I am not working until I get a $2 an hour raise. Or I stubbed my toe, so I will sit out a few days.

so i guess ill be 51 in a few weeks then that answered my question. at least for whatever strange reason robin thinks im cute.

I like that rule. Just had a real eyeopener at the meet the teacher night at DD's junior high. I am older then some of her teachers!!

in answer to the qotd. magical experiences. id say they were all great magical trips, but one particular time at 50s prime time cafe at studios we had a waiter or "dad "as they called him. we had the whole group. our ds was dating his future wife. and of course dd was there too.
they brought my food and there were peas on the plate touching my chicken!!
i carefully divided them. i DONT eat peas. the"dad: was teasing us the whole time and when i wouldnt eat the peas he decided to play airplane and feed them to me!!
he put them in my mouth but i didnt chew or swallow them. i just sat there with them in my mouth till he turned his back then spit them into a glass.
of course my lovely wife was videotaping the whole thing.
then he made our dd get up and sing "im a little teapot" in front of other people because she didnt clean her plate.
it was our future daughter in laws 18th bday. and they sang to her.
all in all a great memory.

Dang 103 degrees at 11:30 am with 22% humidity. Its hot here. And to think we were planing on going to see Hell as an excursion. Think I will step outside and save the money!
