Forgot to answer you yesterday on the Tooth Dr. I called him first thing in the morning and his office is closed all week. I did get an emergency number but I WILL NOT go to any other dentist. :sad2: Kristin did a little patch job for me to tide me over the weekend. I'm glad all the money I spent on her dental hygiene education paid off. Too bad she didn't stick with it. I'm being careful to just eat soft stuff too. :upsidedow

Well, we're off to buy our travelers checks and to turn in our cash bucket. Every night we toss all of our spare change into an old WDW popcorn bucket. It's full to the top with change and even some small lottery winnings in it. It should pay for all the baskets I'm buying from Shirley at The Perfect Gift for the cruise.:dance3: I'll report back with the final count.:woohoo:

Later everyone....:flower3:

Hi

I don not usually post I mostly just read the notes. Chris and I do the same thing only we don not give anyone change. I also get gas in an odd amount like $9.50. That gives us .50 for the change jar. I have a picutre of the Magic on the outside of the jar.:dance3:
Your note also caught my interrest because Iam a dental hygienist.Actually I usually refer to myself as a claening lady.:rotfl2: I went to school when I was 32. Is Kristin your daughter?

P.S. Hope the tooth gets better!!!
Lynn

Ok I have popped in here and there and haven't really introduced myself. Since everyone seems to have gone to bed I thought this would be a good time, with all of the posts I felt like if I did it then I would be interuppting something. I have really enjoyed reading all of your posts, well some of the posts there are so many. And I think Cass has done an awesome job on the website. I hope to meet some of you on the cruise, although DH is shy..well wary of meeting strangers I think it has something to do with the job:rolleyes1 . DD is also very shy due to having a disability, but we are working on that as well.
So here it goes.....
My name is Becky. I will be traveling with my husband Sean and 14yo daughter Sarah. This is our 2nd cruise as a family, but I have been on 3 DCL cruises total. I also have a son Devin who is 18 and not cruising due to starting college this year, which is hard for me because I think I am too young to have a college student. We live in the Central Valley in CA where I am the head secretary of a elementary school, DH is a deputy sheriff. We are DVC owners and like all of you I am a disney fanatic. In fact at school I am the resident travel agent when a staff member goes to disney. I tend to lurk more than I post, I just feel real self consious about it for some reason, I think it is like email you are just not sure how you come across, but I have found DIS people to be very accepting.

DOn't worry about how you come across, we all have our moments and sometimes we don't even understand each other (it's those dang Australians :lmao: )

And don't worry about interrupting either :sad2: Just hop on in the conversation, the more the merrier!! ::yes:: SOmetimes you have to jump in quickly to get a word in edgewise around here!

Hey Cass, Can I do my weigh in over? Much, much better results this morning. :yay:

And kudo's to Diane on getting back on track!!

I know! I am a pound lighter today too :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Heather here - Hi again.

Two law enforcers...will all have to watch our P's and Q's. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

10 weeks to go...wow. When will we get our tickets, etc??? Not that I'm in a hurry or anything.

Nancy - have we got an update on the Distag? Should I go to Yahoo?

Heather

Heather, do you mean the documents?? They SHOULD be mailed out 2-4 weeks ahead of time. Most USAers get them 2 weeks prior but we have gotten them before as early as 5 weeks before sail date, maybe because we're in Canada. They had better come before 2 weeks, we leave for WDW 11 days before the cruise!!!

Yahoo Only 10 more weeks till we cruise    Lets see that means that 10 weeks from now at this time we will be at the terminal

I know!!!! Almost exactly too, we will be arriving at the port at 10am, so 10 weeks exactly we will be in that gorgeous terminal!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Hey do we have a QOTD yet?? Don't remember seeing one...

How about...

What time will you be arriving at the port on sail day????

We will be dropping our rental car off at Budget at 9:30 and should be at the port by 10 AM!!! :cool1:

We just bought DH pirate costume. :cool1: I could not run around anymore hoping to find bits and pieces to put together for him so we just order one online.

Now here is the kicker. The 3 of us are done. But he is going to ask the older 2 today if they want to participate in it. If so that means I have to look for 2 more outfits.

:welcome: Becky, Sean and Sarah :welcome: Just jump right in and join us. This is a great group that loves to chat! If you get to know us here on the DIS we won't be strangers when we cruise! I too am the "Disney travel agent" at the hospital I work at, I even have people from other departments seeking my advice now :lmao:
Stop lurking and start posting with us :flower3:

I am cruising with my husband Al and DD 13 Rachel (she posts as Tinker Belle) We are cruising with some friends and they just started posting here too, Lynn still does alot of lurking too though ;) .

Nancy hope the tooth is feeling OK today!

We have a change bucket too. Al thinks I'm crazy because instead of paying for things in dollars and cents I just pay dollars and love getting change to throw in the vacation cup. I have even been known to buy change off of my co-workers when they are complaining their purses are gettting too heavy because of the change in them :lmao: We usuallu have well over $100 in it every vacation, in June I think we were close to $200.
