Another vote for this. Also photo ID's as part of the key to the world card, so that you don't have to carry additional ID with you.

Yeah. I'm hoping for photopass as well. It was great for our trip to WDW last year. I've heard rumors that it will happen but no date.

Mornin all.......I was hoping for some computer help. I can't use my smileys, fonts, or colors. Also when I post I have to hit the redirect button to take me back to the posts. Also on my yahoo mail the mail will come up and the info of the person that sent it and subject comes but no context. And on some websites it will say loading and never come. It is a new computer so I wonder if it is some sort of virus. I am computer dumb and have no idea. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

Being a new computer, I doubt that you have a virus. (it's possible but improbable that this is the case) More likely, it is a problem with Windows or Internet Explorer. There are a number of possible fixes.
1) make sure that you have your Windows (XP or Vista) up-to-date. Download all the appropriate patches from Microsoft.
2) Same goes for Internet Explorer. Use the most recent version.
3) You may have an outdated Java script engine. You'll need to www.java.com for the latest version. It is a free download.
4) If you're using an Apple, I have no idea what you are going to do to get it to work. Sorry
5) If you are using Microsoft Vista. You have my condolences. I am currently in the process of moving all of my most essential programs off my Vista Partition and onto my XP partition because I have come to the conclusion that Vista is a total lost cause. It will need major overhauling by Microsoft to become usable.

Glad to see so many Wisconsinites out there...I'm in Janesville. I'll be the car going 80 down I39 on the 19th to get to the airport...I'm SO jazzed about this cruise.

Another scrapbooker - great...join the club

As for previous posts - if you are replying to someones post, just click on the quote button on the bottom of the post and it will appear in the reply box. You can also use the multi-quote botton '+' and work you way through all the posts that you haven't read. Then click the 'reply' button and every post that you want to reply to appears, like magic, in the reply box.

Jeff doesn't like us to use this though

As for HP7 - we haven't discussed it yet as some of the group are still reading it.

Here's a short tutorial on the DIS boards. The quick reply button is on the far left. It makes a quick reply to a posting. You can go advanced for further enhancements such as smiley, bold and colored fonts etc. The far left button on a post is the Quote button, once you press that you will be automatically directed to the advanced screen with the post in question being "quoted." You can edit that posting (such as take out non-pertinent parts) just dont disturb the bracketed QUOTE terms as you will mess up the computers ability to recognize that you were quoting someone. The middle button is the multquote button. This one was a mystery to even me until recently. With the multquote button you press it (it will turn red) then go on with your reading then, you can press it again on another posting that you want to quote. Once you have found all the postings that you want to quote on, press the "QUOTE" button on the last post and you will be directed to the advanced screen where you will see all the postings that you wanted to quote with their respective bracketed /Quote commands. You can then type between those bracketed/quote commands to respond to each posting. Hope I have helped.

The other thing I would like is to be able to look up your account and order excursions etc on your stateroom tv. RCCL can do it, why not DCL!

Sorry you are having so many problems But yeah, get rid of Vista and see if that helps. Steve had great advice! Hope you get it fixed soon.

There's three little buttons in the bottom right corner of each post, hit the middle one that has a + symbol on it, that should turn it red, that means when you hit reply, you will be quoting that particular post. You can do this to each post you want to reply to....it's called multi quoting.

That said, we well probably have a bad day today. But, progress is certainly being made!!

I also think a car rental AT the Port would be nice. So much easier for passengers but not cost effective for Disney as they would only be renting cars on cruise days.

I'd love that, but they won't because the cheaper cost of renting a car would keep people from over paying for the DCL transfers.

Too cool to have the Photo ID on the card. Only problem would be the lines for getting your pictures. Check-in would be forever.

Vista is definately not for those who are not computer savy, trust me. It is nice once you get used to it & I do find it more stable than XP; but I started early with the Beta release to get initiated and have used it for about a year now.

The skating rink on the RCCL is more of a novelty than anything, its a small rink and reminds me of skating on ponds when I was a kid because the ice is really bad. Not much you can do when you have to freeze it. I wonder if they have a mini-zamboni for it?
