I think they may get swept in that series. At least the series is at home, so it may help.

They are 10-16 (.385) in the month of July with only one game to go.

I've noticed at least 3 DISers from the DCL board that are going on our cruise but haven't posted here at all.

YES! It's intimidating to me and I started the thread!

I'm afraid I will be needing to sign off as well. This medication I am on is starting to make me feel quite groggy, darn these shingles..........

Jeff, here are the 3 threads with the DISers going on our cruise.

Maybe we should ask Steve to edit his first post and add some info on it about us (KK nickname etc) and how new people should just jump on in to our thread and ignore the first 1000 or so pages

Sunday afternoon is always Daddy-Kira time as he doesn't get to see her much during the week.

So they were downstairs playing and I hear Rob "Awww yuck! She puked on me!"

Ran downstairs to help...this is what I found...

Here's a question for those of you in the know. When is the Pirate Party? I was under the impression that it was Tuesday night (Grand Cayman night) but I was just looking a a personal navigator from earlier this year that had it on Wed night (Cozumel night) I'm trying to figure out when I should make our Palo's ressies (if there are any left) and if the pirate party is on Wed then Tues will be perfect.

Good job Steve! The only thing I might change is maybe add that the meet is at the Mickey Pool at 3pm. That way, the lurkers can stop by and check it out and see that we are totally harmless well most of us anyway

Thanks!!! It's the burning sensation on my chest and side that hurts the most. I've been under a great amount of stress at work, the doc said that is what probably brought the shingles on.

our son did that to me once back when he was about 1 yr. old (1978)and i was carrying him on my shoulders. barfed right on my head. i had hair back then too... now that i think about it, my hair started falling out after that.

Just got back from taking Kaitie to camp, she will be gone for the week. We usually send her 2-3 times a summer and she really loves it. So spread the word to the kids Kaitie will be gone and not posting this week. Very quiet at our house tonight, just doing laundry and watching Sky High with my son. He could watch this movie all day if I would let him.

We are in a dilemma, what is everyone doing in Cozumel? My DH, DD & DD-BF want to do the Mayan ruins on horseback but it seems very expensive for what you get. I thought the cavern tour sounded more interesting an it includes beach time and meal.

It would be great if we knew we could trust a non-Disney vendor and all book something. They are much cheaper outside of Disney. The horseback is $85 with Disney and $35 outside Disney. For $35 it is worth it but I am afraid to book something like that without some kind of reference because you could go too long and get left behind or like on that Carnival cruise you could get robbed. What do you do to research these, I tried online but there is very little information. Cozumel was not visited last year because of damage from hurricanes so it is hard to find people to ask.

Any suggestions on what to do or to take

My DW and I ate at JITB many times while we were dating. The JITB in our area moved out many years ago however.

They are far and few between but I love their 99 cent tacos, and 99 cent chicken sandwhiches. For one of my old bosses I used to drive most of the day so I would drive thru JITB and get a chicken sandwhich and rootbeer and never spend more then $3. I was always so proud to eat that cheap.

Judy, We're planning on the Dolphin Encounter. More expensive than I want, but my son has been begging to do this ever since seeing it on the pic of the day thread.

Well, I would pay $85 to not be robbed that is for sure. Cass does all the research so she is the best one to answer that question. But I'd stay away from the food and water, last couple we seen eating on a trip like that on the last cruise had food poisoning.

How was your party at the zoo on Friday night? I saw the tents going up when I picked DS up from Zoo Camp.

Is Kaitie going to any type of specialty camp, or just camp in general?

As for Cozumel. If you don't mind "winging" it, there are several vendors on the pier in Cozumel. You can also cross the street and find some in store fronts. If you book online, I would recommend that you go with one that will not charge you (or that will refund you in the case of prepayment) if the boat doesn't make it there. If they do that, that is at least one sign they may be reputable.
