Over the weekend he was given a day pass out of rehab so he could attend his dance recital (just to watch and support his friends and his moms studio). He did really well but was very tired when it was done. As of today he has gone home and will be doing out-patient rehabe 3 days a week for 3 hours a day.

His family is having a party on Friday that was planned months ago and now they are turning it into a big celebration for him, so I will get to see him and fill everyone in more after the weekend.

Yes you guys did. I called home at lunch and he told me he was talking with Mike and Jeff. When I got home he told me he was talking to Mike and Jeff. He is so excited to be talking with everyone before the cruise. Cruises are still new to him so this is making it even more exciting.

id like to hear more about this neighbor of yours "candy"

good to hear. small steps..

We've never eaten anything other than breakfast at Kona. I have heard a lot of good things about Kona for both lunch and dinner, though. Check out their menu when you get a chance - it does sound pretty good.

I did read the menu and that's why I thought I'd ask. I'd like to try it, but I think Suz will want to stay by the hotel that night.

We tried for the Luau, but it was sold out.

She is a real piece of work, hair down to her bottom.

Hey Scott mentioned that your neighbor used to strip. I used to work with one, they lead very interesting lives.

hers a cruise question for anyone. where is the best place to get travel insurance? we opted not to get it from disney because we heard its cheaper elsewhere. figure we better get it with my heart history.:scared:

First off, you better get it now because there will be a 60 or 90 pre-existing clause since you didn't purchase it in the first 14 days. Since the cruise is only 122 days away, you better get going.

Second, if you didn't buy your air through DCL, I don't think their insurance will cover your flights or being late because of them.

With that said, I've always had good luck with Travelex (www.travelex-insurance.com). We go with the "lite" plan. I think for this cruise it is only costing us about $130. Other trips have been between $80 and $110. It depends on how much coverage you need (i.e. cruise cost, airline tickets, non-refundable rooms, etc.).

O.K. kids, it is 10:30 here. I'm signing off. Have good night.

If you can get to page 808, Karen will have 20 pages to read.

Karen, was this enough posting for you?

Thank you I have been trying to figure that one out for awhile.

Updated the food porn thread with our breakfast at Kona Cafe for anyone who wants to take a look. See the famous Tonga Toast... and see the cute little anniversary treat the restaurant gave us!

Thanks in advance and have a good night! I've got a loan committee with 13 requests tomorrow morning... that means I'm spending half of my day in a board (bored) room with no computer!!

See ya later!

Brenda no-pants ;)

Well it is time for my mudslide, a nice relaxing bath, some tv time and hopefully a few pages in my book. Good night all. Talk to you tomorrow.

Mike Candy is out and about right now. She keeps really weird hours. I almost think she makes house calls.

Maybe tomorrow I will post a pic of our house. Just a thought, but I might melt in the 115 degree weather. :rotfl2:
