Here in Wisconsin we always say, "Everything's better with butter!!" My husband tells me he can't tell the difference between margarine and Illinois! Yikes--obviously he is from Illinois. :scared1:

Classic case of "You can take the man out of Illinois but you can't take Illinois out of the man"...:snooty:

ps...Am taking the mickey i can't/won't cook anything and my idea of a two course meal is toast with margarine on it,sorry....:rolleyes1

Hi everybody, and a belated happy father's day to all you dads.........

Well, here I sit in a hotel in Phoenix waiting for my family to wake up so we can get back on the road. The kids have been great so far. In just two days we have gone from beautiful Monterey Bay to the beautiful desert of southern California and now Arizona. It has been great fun. We visited some dear friends in Twentynine Palms, CA, for Father's Day and that was so nice. Unfortunately, we found out that a few friends of ours are headed back to Iraq in October, the third time around for one of them. (I wish the elections were this year instead of next year.)

Anyway, I have tried to pop in and catch up on the latest goings-on with y'all. I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the start of this summer season.

Karen--a little prayer to you with your solicitors.:thumbsup2

Linda--hope you are well. Haven't read a post from you in a while.

Ok, well, I'm off. We are headed out shortly if I can get these lazy people moving; we are sleeping in El Paso, TX tonight.

Oh Paige the joys of being a military wife?....:rolleyes1 ...Please Paige this is a family BB language of that nature is uncalled for....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

YELLOW LAB--FREE TO ANY HOME!!!
FREE DELIVERY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!!!
Ok, I'm quite certain you will like reading this more than I liked writing it, but here it goes...

Remember back a few months ago when I told you that Cabo (my yellow lab) ate DS's new cell phone that was delivered via Fed Ex?

Well, now he has something against the UPS man too. In 2 short minutes Cabo managed to tear open one carton, two boxes inside that were heavily taped, and proceeded to EAT two pair of brand new shoes that I bought for the cruise!!! He had everything torn up outside on the front lawn and was sitting proudly in the middle of it all wagging his tail. One peak at the look on DD's face told him he'd done something horribly wrong (again) and he made a mad dash for his kennel which he has been hiding in ever since.

Do you think I could return them with a note that I received them that way? I'm not really lying am I? :confused3 (And no, I did not use MC or Visa).
