Hope you are feeling more positive today, and that you are settling into your new home OK. I was telling my work colleagues how you got proposed to, they were all amazed and a bit jelous too. It sounds like every girls dream. Wayne proposed to me in our breakfast room, and just said, " ive brought you a ring, hope you will marry me ? " He was very nervous doing that ! so he would never do anything "slushy" in public.

Well actually part of the reason we married in Jamaica, was so he didnt have to do a big speak infront of guests. Then after we married,and we went into the resturant ( at the Sandals hotel, were we married) all the other couples started tinging their glassed with their knives etc. no one on our table knew what this meant, but it keep going on, with people stamping their feet etc. Wayne ( after a dig in the ribs from me ) stood up and thanked everyone for the applause, said how much he loved me, thanksed our parents and friends for coming out to Jamaica with us etc....... he sat down and drank a whole glass of wine in one glug! The waiter came over and said " Wow we love the British, dong a speech etc, so formal. You only had to kiss the bride!!!!"


oh how we all laughed !!!

Thanks Cheryl - since I have Crohns I use a milder prep (I don't have to drink a gallon of yucky stuff - thank goodness) but it's still no fun. But you do get a nice payoff the next day during the test when your doctor (or at least mine) dopes you up so much you can't remember who you are for the rest of the day.

At the risk of grossing anyone out, I had a T.V. ultrasound this morning - looking (and found) for endometriomas. Apparently everything's decided to go haywire at the same time.

Hi Brenda I hope the ultrasound wasn't too uncomfortable. Where I work we do the FULL bladder part along with the T.V. part and many of our patients are just so happy to be able to empty their baldder they say the T.V. isn't that bad. I agree, I have a yearly ultrasound because I have a very strong family history of endometrial cancer. I have a good friend with endometriosis and it sure can make things go haywire like you said. Good luck with everything

OK I have some exciting news for me.

Waynes brought me a cruise for my birthday in July. As you all know I will be the big 40!!!

Lindy How exciting What a wonderful birthday present! How nice that your mum will watch Elouise for you and just the 2 of you can get away. You are going to become our Royal Caribbean expert. I may be calling on you for info afterwards because there is a good chance we will be cruising RC next, just not sure when.

Well now that I got caught up here I better get some cleaning and laundry done and I should mow the lawn. Mowing the lawn is usually Rachel's job but they are saying it could rain tonight and tomorrow and it needs it desperately so I guess I should do it.
