Rose - the trampoline place is a beach where you pay one price for a wristband and you can use the facilities - they include floating trampolines, inflatable "rockwall", kayaks etc.

I have just seen quite a few photos of Rum Point and it looked georgous, but I'm not sure how long it takes in a cab - more research still needed:thumbsup2

Is it a long way though if we just want the beach? I'm not good with fish - they petrify me, so I wont be snorkeling looking at them, but hubby and Ellis love snorkelling. None of us fancy dolphin encounters. I'll have a look at the website - thank you:thumbsup2 .

Karen....I hate fish too! Creep me out if they get too close.
But some snorkeling sites the fish are little and very colorful and pretty...they don't scare me too much. I'll snorkel, but when a big one comes by I'm outta here..... you could snorkel by me....we'll be each other's lookouts!:rotfl:

Oh by the way everyone,......I've been over to the 27th Oct thread and they havent seen Chris either:confused3 - I reckon all that talk of a photo has got him booked into a beauty spa for a week, being waxed, plucked, dyed and pampered ready for his photo shoot:rotfl: He'll look like Mr UK when he finally posts that photo:lmao:

Yeah, what about that Chris?????? Maybe he really looks like Borat and is now ashamed to show himself because of all the comments we've made???:rotfl:

and...your point is....???:lmao:

You know Nancy...now that I look at that again. I'm not sure....
Guess when I went last time I was single and went onshore with just my son
who was 14 at the time and the girl he met on the ship who was 13. So no drinking to be done that day.
But this time around
Drinking and shopping does sound like a great excursion! For BF and I....not DS....he'll only be 17.

Been there, done that. TWICE. We got lucky as our kids went to a small Catholic High School and the counselors took care of most of it for us. Heck, that hefty tuition better buy us something.

UGH. Once will be enough. Yes I'm glad that the school is doing as much as they are. And yes with the tuition that we're paying , they should be.

I'll be so glad when he is in college and he is an adult and does all his own paperwork.
Yuck....for the past 11 years I've been doing all this accounting for money he came into when his father died. Court supervised money that needs annual accounting. Social Security accounting. Taxes for Sean... Yes every year since he was 4 or 5 he's had to PAY taxes on the money he earns in interest. And then all the paperwork for his schools for his ADHD, and then applying to the private school, now the SAT, ACT, and all that college paperwork and financial aid!

It's just been such a pain all these years! I keep telling Sean..... "in a couple of years you're in charge of all of this.....I never want to do or keep all this paperwork again!"

I need this cruise now!!!!!

to all AMERICAN cruisers.... did you see this... what a great idea for custom WDW maps for FREE!!! :dance3: :dance3:

BUT NOT for UK clients:confused3 :sad2: :sad2:

looks a great idea, someone on another thread said they have laminated theirs and they look fab as place mats too !

I WISH Disney would do this for us, even if we paid for the postage.

His daughter posts on the kids thread I think. Maybe one of the kids can ask over there.

Maybe it was this Friday that he was gone until. I say give him a few days yet before we send out the dogs.

Just popping in to say hello!

I thought Chris was supposed to be back last Friday, but he could have been delayed (I will not mention dwarfs...I will not mention dwarfs)

I hope he is OK. :goodvibes

Hi Lindy Loo! Doing OK over here - weather has been nice and warm. No lottery, unfortunately.

The Grimace is in Las Vegas so she'd better have had a good birthday! I'm assuming she didn't hit a huge jackpot or she would have called to tell me about it. ;)

Brenda, do I dare ask why she is called The Grimace?

Do you think his family should qualify for something in the Guiness Book?

I think you should hibernate for the whole of June.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Karen,

I would opt for Chakanaab (sp?) then. Haven't been to that park since the hurricane, but when we were there, they had a nice little cove with a beach that you could go to. They also have a reef right out from the park that you can snorkel to.

I agree with Jeff. We did the Dolphin experience, but there was some lovely beaches there and some mayan ruins.

Oh Rose...it's kind of complicated and actually ties back to the WDW trip my husband and I took with my parents this past October.

It started with a picture that I posted in my dining review and just spiraled out of control from there. ;)

Some day a totally random stranger in St. Louis who's been reading my reports on the DIS is going to walk up to my mom and say, "Hey, Grimace! How ya doin'?"

And she's going to be completely baffled because she knows nothing about any of this. :lmao:

If you really want the gory details let me know, and I'll try to post the specific links...I'm not sure you want to wade through my trippies - I'm long-winded. ;)

Janice, glad you came back to us. Do you still need that invitation to the Yahoo group? Just PM me with your email address and I'll get the invite out to you.

I did try twice to PM you, but keep getting an error message.

Boy we've been a talkative group as of late. We're up into the 19th spot for replies. :cool1:

84 more and we will catch #18. Come on folks, we can do it. :cheer2:

Now it should only be 80 or maybe even 79, assuming that no one posted there while I was wasting time here. ;)
