Just went to a college planning session with my son's school college planning advisor.
Very helpful, Very scary too! Thinking of all this stuff.
I'm so glad that my son switched to a small private school this past year. I know that his old school was too huge to have this type of personalized attention.
This whole process though....it's gotten me stressed just thinking of all the forms, deadlines, testing, college touring, interviews.....

Somehow my son seems to be so casual and unaffected by it all. I wish I was as calm and sedated as him...although I know if I was like him I'd get nothing accomplished at all. My anxieties keep me going

Anyone else going through this headache? Or been there done that?
How about Nancy? Or Robin?

Oh yeah...

The college forms are a pain. And then there's the FAFSA. I don't know why we even have to fill it out. I already know we don't qualify for any financial aide. It a pain!
So.... What do I have waiting on my table; The FAFSA. I keep putting it off. I guess I'll be doing that this weekend.

What is really irritating is dealing with the colleges. Every time you need to update the paperwork, I call them and ask them to send me the forms and they say my daughter has to sign off on it first.

They don't mind taking our money, but they have to have her signature to send us the forms. They need to have a form for these kids to sign to release this info to the parents. (Kinda like the HIPPA forms the Dr.s' use)

Sorry, you got me going.

I think they need a minimum number of posts before they can PM. For some reason I think it is 5. I see they are at 6, so maybe try again.

Well, I actually did it! I got up at 5:00 AM to do the elliptical today. The question is... Will I be able to do it tomorrow?

We have a challeng going on at work. Seven of us in the office got weighed in on Friday. We'll now get weighed every week. This should keep me honest.
