Sorry i missed you Jeff, i would have played !!!!;)

Well I have some news.............. guess what I did today??

I'VE BOOKED A RCCL cruise for next year!

We are still looking at coming over to the USA in May/June. Depending if Wayne can get time off work and E off school. Anyway last week prices came out for cruises from Southampton, and I thought they were soooo good, we have booked a 14 night med Treasures cruise from 26th July 08! And guess what, it's on the NEW not even built the 3rd of the Freedom class called Indepenance.

I'm so excited, E will be 6 by then so no worries with ages for rock climbing etc!

Anyone care to join me celebrate!

Congrats.

I need to get Suz to look at RCCL or NCL. DS will be fine on either and they are so much cheaper. RCCL will have a lot more for him to do now that he's getting older. He'd totally get into the mini-golf and might try the rock wall. Add in the ice skating and a few other things and he'll be thrilled. He looks at the other ships/lines and seems interested. Just need to get Suz convinced.

The ship I was looking at by NCL is supposed to have the next best kids club to DCL per Cruise Critic. They also have a couple of slides in the kids pool which DS loves. Figure there won't be as many kids on NCL as are on DCL, so the slide lines shouldn't be too bad.

Sorry, Karen and I are tied at 531 so I need to do one more post. Brenda still has us by about 30.

I figure Brend and I will post while you guys are cruising and really manipulate the numbers. :thumbsup2

Its ok Jeff - you can have 2nd place - no doubt you'll post every day while we're cruising and be no1 by the time we get back;)

Well done Lindy - you got 4000th post - at least that pirate: Jeff didnt get it.;)

Huge congrats on booking another cruise - details please - where does it go? - you never know who else might be travelling:eek: - only kidding - I wouldnt make you cruise with us a 2nd time around:rotfl: - although that water area does look good:rolleyes1

See.... heres another useless one just to prove a point!:rotfl:

ps - I am counting to 40 inbetween posts and that rule still catches me out:confused3

oh congrats Linda. You'll have to have a long chat with my friends Dave and Bev in October. They love RCCL and will be able to give you plenty of tips.

HI everyone. I just wanted to pop in and give you all an update on my dad and his surgery. He had a quadruple bypass yesterday morning and is doing great today! He is already out of ICU and in a private room and sitting up in a chair. Thank you all for your kind words. I will be going home on Tuesday, so I will be able to catch up with you all then. Have a great weekend.

Thanks for the update Paige, so glad to hear that everything went well.

Where have all the kruisers gone? I'm so lonely here at work without all of you to distract me. ;)

And I'm issuing an APB (all points bulletin) for Chris:

Yes, officer, I know that I've never seen him before but I swear I can help you find him. He's an English dude, from the northern counties, says his name is Chris but often refers to himself as AFEG (A Fat English Gent), and is a Manchester United fan. Hobbies include beer drinking, wise cracking, and dwarf tossing.

If you find him would you please let him know that his fellow cruisers (and even some non-cruisers) miss him and would like to know that he's still counted among the breathing?

;)

Thanks for keeping us posted Paige. So happy all went well.:)

Nancy, aren't you usually on at lunch time? Where are you woman?

I'm only on during lunch on Wednesday's and Thursday's.

Nobody wants to play with me. :sad1:

Hmmm, wasn't it you who said I should play with myself? I'm too nice to suggest you do the same.

I'VE BOOKED A RCCL cruise for next year!

Sounds like fun Linda. Sorry, we can't join you as we will be spending all our extra cash on weddings.

Yes they do still want to play. I saw Bev & Dave last week and Bev will be on soon to introduce herself. I know that Dave has already been on, very briefly, when this thread started.

 Make that 13 cabins!!

Geez woman, who haven't you scared away? You listed almost everyone who posted here.

I think Linda and Karen don't know you good enough. Otherwise, they would have went off and posted on the phantom board we started so that we could talk about you. :rotfl2:

They did post on the phantom board and we were talking about you!!

Why am I footing the bill? At that cost, I might as well just cruise with you guys.

:lmao: :lmao: Very True!!:lmao: :lmao:

Paige, glad to hear about your Dad, thanks for updating us all.

Heather, thats great news about your friends knowing all about RCCL! :thumbsup2 We will certainly be asking for all the tips they have. Though Im a bit miffed tonight for 3 reasons.
1 being when I told wayne I had booked the cruise, he just grunted and said I dont fancy the ports much, its just Europe !

2. The house next door has been sold ... ALREADY! apparently to a couple with a small child.... so a nosey neighbour ( NOT me! ) said ! i will ask my neighbours tomorrow, we get on fine and im sure they will tell us, whos going to be moving in.

3. I help out at school on Fridays, and Elouise was a horrible spoilt brat at school today, refusing to sit on the mat and listen to a story. Her teahcer was actualy far kinder and nicer to her than i would have been. I would have dragged her there, and MADe her sit,but i guess school have rules ! It was sooooo embarrasing, I think she was tired, over excited from Red Nose etc, but still, its no excuse! Warning, for the cruise....... screaming kid ahead!
