Where are all my fellow Wisconsinites? Judy, Cheryl, Rachel, Jeff, Victoria, Chris??

And since I"m asking, where is Abby, Tina, Sean, Walt, and Rose?:sad2:

Have we scared away Pegastar (Michelle), Spacy9 (Bill), and B9erSteve?

I know for sure we scared away Mollygirl13. She only posted once I think.:confused3

AFEG...we miss you buddy!! Come back to us kind sir!:cool2:

And since I will leave no one out of the equation...good morning to Karen, Linda, Brenda, Cass, Mike & Robin, Heather, and Paige.:flower3:

Hey Brenda, I was thinking last night. (Shocking, I know).:) Are you visiting your dear brother this summer? If so, we should try to round up Judy, Cheryl, and Victoria and the boys to have a mini meet somewhere. Cheesecake Factory sounds good to me. ;)

Maybe we'll invite Jeff and Suz and let him foot the bill!!

Hi everybody:wave2: :wave2: :wave2:

Another viewing at 4pm today - yesterdays woman was just palin wieeeeerd!

I saw her pull up and walk up our path but then the doorbell didnt ring? - I peeked through the window and she was in the garden poking between plants??:confused3

Then she came in, asked lots of strange questions (nothing to do with the house I might add!) then I showed her out. 2 minutes later she was in the garden still playing with some more plants and bushes and stroking the leaves:confused3 - WWWWIIIIIEEEEERRRRDDDDDD.:scared:

Neil thinks she's probably some nutter into feng shui and wants to know where our "happy corner" is etc.

Lindy - it is a difficult thing to decide. We toyed with the idea of buy to let and staying where we were, but I dont think I personally want the hastle of tenants. You might strike lucky and get good ones, but you might end up stressing half your life away and worrying about your 2nd home- especially if you can see what they are up to!. Not being nosey but did you know you have to put a 20%(ish) deposit down on the house. It has nothing to do with how much you could borrow re earnings etc it goes on how much rental you could get from the property. It doesnt work like a normal mortgage if you intend to buy to let. We didnt realise til we checked it out ourselves.

AFEG - put down that dwarf and come and chat;) - its been tooo long:hug:

Nancy - fancy mentioning cheesecake when you know I'M TRYING TO DIET - SHAME ON YOU;) I've been a good girl again today - 1 hour aquarobics and 20 mins swim. Plus I've just had my hair cut so that must be a few ounces lost:lmao:

With regards to pricing - all I know is that our price has gone up for the cat 11s. I looked into swapping it for Jeff's SPH cat 10 room, but it was quite a jump so we're sticking to our "room without a view". With all those parties Chris is going to through in his suite I wont need a balcony of my own - I'll just steel his;)

I cant believe you lot have your distag prezzies sorted - toooo organised. DId you say there are 12 of us playing? - that wont be too bad for space in the case.

With Cass and Lindy across the hall they are going to have to be mighty careful they arent seen when delivering each others tag prezzies! We are on deck 5 - right at the back - stop walking just before you fall off the back of the ship - voila! - our cabin:thumbsup2 - I figured this might be a good spot for when I stagger back from the bar as long as I remember to stop walking:rolleyes:

Anyway, I'm off to flick the dust around my lounge AGAIN - cant wait til we get an offer - all this housework:scared1:

Where is everyone else? - if you are all reading but not posting pleeeasssee start to post - we arent THAT scary or mad (well,..... Chris is but thats all;) )

Come on cruisers - get posting:goodvibes

Sorry - the 2005 one. Its a great read so far. I was actually snorting with laughter at some parts.

Oh, okay...there will be no Plankton in that trippie. We didn't pick him up until May 2006 - if you want to read the story of how we found him you can check out the link to "Spendfest of Ridiculous Proportions" and read about some Universal / Islands of Adventures from last year.

Thanks again for reading - I'm glad you like it. :goodvibes

Oh Brenda we would be DELIGHTED !!!!!!! to be cruising on the Royal Caribbean with you ! We hope to cruise end of May 1st week of June ( As Elouise will be 6 on 2nd June 08.....old enough for the rock climbing wall, which she sooooo wants to do )
I think the dates are released next Month, thats what my TA said, and yes the prices are better value! Is this a good time for you?
We are hoping the internery could be done back to back of Eastern Western... .but guess we will have to see where they go. We do fancy LABADEE in HAITI as their water park looks fantastic !

PLEASE try and make it................... it would be awesome.... i'll bribe you with some more HRH pins !

Our TA sent us a huge catalogue of Caribbean cruise itineraries through 2008 - we'll have to put our heads together and see which ones we both looking at. I, too, like the idea of Labadee - it looks lovely.

Linda, do you know roughly how much of a difference there is in a DCL cruise compared to a RCL cruise? American money please. And while I'm on the subject, does anyone know if DCL charges different prices for a similar cabin, for the same cruise, booked at the same time?

Example: Brenda and I are just a cabin apart (I'm STILL not giving up on this B) and probably booked around the same time. Did we pay the same as the guy in the room in between us?? Or..did he get a cheaper price because he booked a week earlier? I know the prices go up the closer you get to cruise date.

Gosh...that's about as clear as mud isn't it? Anyone who understands what I'm asking go ahead and answer. I dare you!!:rotfl:

Nancy, I can get you some prices tonight when I get home if you'd like (don't have the catalogue with me today). As for DCL - you booked on board and I didn't, so right there you would have gotten a lower rate for the same cabin. I also know that DU offered me a cat 6 for about 150 less than AAA - we toook AAA because of the onboard credits but at the end of the day it was pretty much a wash.

Actually it's Jason's brother who lives in Hartland, WI. My brother died in 2001 and I have been relegated to "only-child" status. :sad1:

We don't have plans right now to head up to WI - logistically it's hard to figure out how to stay with them right now...four kids, two adults, one very large dog, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms...I'd be climbing the walls after one night. ;)

BTW - I managed to update some more argie / bargie if anyone wants to take a look. :flower3:

I see we have 10 Konked Kruisers wanting to play DIStag. (Brenda, I'm still including you because I have faith you will joining us after all). Heather, do you think your friends (Bev & Dave???) want to play too?

Yes they do still want to play. I saw Bev & Dave last week and Bev will be on soon to introduce herself. I know that Dave has already been on, very briefly, when this thread started.

Happy RED NOSE day to you all....... I thinkn as Karen said maybe only UK dissers will know what this is. Elouise has gone to school with spray painted red hair a red nose and t shirt! We have to pay £2 for the privilege! ..............all for a good cause though. Im a helped later, doing red nose biscuit decorations............... sounds messy!!! YIKES!

Yes, Happy Read Nose Day to you all. My niece went off to school, also dressed in red.

Heather

Good Morning Karen and Linda!!

Yes, we have "Red Nose" day. Well, actually, any day when being "over served" is "Red Nose " Day here in the drunken U.S.of A.:rotfl2:

Note: Every day for Nancy is "Red Nose" day. :lmao:

As for the price of a cruise going up every so many weeks, you should have seen the repo on 1/31. It went up by the hour!

The difference from what I got at tier 1 to some of the last people getting through for the same cabin was about $2,000 more (if not more).

DCL moves the prices up as the boat fills. Now I actually got the price to go down once. It was after our Jan '06 cruise. We booked for Jan 20, 2007 and when we got home, the price for DS went down $100. They reduced our fare. We then transferred it to Oct 20, 2007, but we didn't like the people we were cruising with, so we made up some excuse why we couldn't go and will be moving it again. (I'm only kidding. Just seeing if you are reading my post or just looking at it.)

Geez woman, who haven't you scared away? You listed almost everyone who posted here.

I think Linda and Karen don't know you good enough. Otherwise, they would have went off and posted on the phantom board we started so that we could talk about you. :rotfl2:

Why am I footing the bill? At that cost, I might as well just cruise with you guys.

Hey, I see Karen moved up to the number 2 position in the "I need a life" count. :lmao: As of this post, I am 10 posts behind her.

Maybe it is time for another page of the Jeffster. :scratchin

You know if I make 9 more posts, I will not only move back ahead of Karen, but also steal the 4K pirate: (oh wait, wrong thread).

Nancy, aren't you usually on at lunch time? Where are you woman?

Brenda, I saw your light was green and now it's not. Where did you go?

Sorry i missed you Jeff, i would have played !!!!;)

Well I have some news.............. guess what I did today??

I'VE BOOKED A RCCL cruise for next year!

We are still looking at coming over to the USA in May/June. Depending if Wayne can get time off work and E off school. Anyway last week prices came out for cruises from Southampton, and I thought they were soooo good, we have booked a 14 night med Treasures cruise from 26th July 08! And guess what, it's on the NEW not even built the 3rd of the Freedom class called Indepenance.

I'm so excited, E will be 6 by then so no worries with ages for rock climbing etc!

Anyone care to join me celebrate!

Brenda could you ever save up and come to England and cruise with us? You know we could meet you at the airport and show you around the south of England, before or after the cruise?

Im not giving up on us cruising together at one point or another !!!

Im sure Plankton would love to see the Med !
