Hi all.

Well, found out today that my dad has to have triple bypass heart surgery. I am off to Louisiana in the next week or two. He will see the surgeon on Friday morning, so we'll know then when exactly the surgery will take place. We knew this day was inevitable since he has had numerous angioplasty procedures. I am not too worried, though. Those docs really know what they're doing. I am going home for moral support, really. My dad is only 66 and pretty healthy (well, except for the heart issues), still has a full-time job, and will be fine, I am sure.

I won't be there for at least another wee, but when I get there, I will still be checking in with y'all, since I think I will need comedy relief at that time. Hey, Linda, maybe I can take a few pics of my hometown. We can start a new theme.

Dust stuff to Ellis and Elouise. Her's a cheer, too!

I posted photos of us on the Yahoo site. They're from last Oct's trip to WDW. I love the one of the girls with Daisy. We looked all over for that blasted duck for Sammie. She just adores Daisy! And Nancy - I added Poohbush to my name.

in that column. I found I can't edit it.

Oh thank you! Yah - I think they're pretty cure, if I do say so myself! They do know how to use the cuteness against me though! Especially my pickle child Sammie. She's so badly into the terrible 2's right now. She'll do something bad, know it's bad, and still smile at me, as if all is OK!

PLAY'S BECAUSE "OH MY GOD! I LOVE THIS SONG!"

7. WE'VE FOUND A DEEPER/SPIRITUAL SIDE TO THE GEEK SITTING NEXT TO US.

8. WE'VE SUDDENLY TAKEN UP SMOKING AND BECOME REALLY GOOD AT IT.

9. WE YELL AT THE BARTENDER, WHO WE BELIEVE CHEATED US BY GIVING US
JUST
LEMONADE, BUT THAT'S JUST BECAUSE WE CAN NO LONGER TASTE THE GIN.

10. WE THINK WE ARE IN BED, BUT OUR PILLOW FEELS STRANGELY LIKE THE
KITCHEN FLOOR (or the mop?)

11. WE FAIL TO NOTICE THAT THE TOILET LID'S DOWN WHEN WE SIT ON IT.

12. WE TAKE OUR SHOES OFF BECAUSE WE BELIEVE IT'S THEIR
FAULT THAT WE'RE HAVING PROBLEMS WALKING STRAIGHT.

Hi Sean and welcome back! Yes you need an invitation to the yahoo group from one of the "Hall Monitors". They would be either myself, Karen Mouse (Karen) or Oybolshoi (Brenda). Just send one of us a PM with your email address and we will be happy to invite you.

Karen...very funny but so so true. I've found myself relating to many of those during much younger days. Those and praying to the "Porcelain God" in the morning.

Rose (Scouter), I was able to edit your DIStag entry to include Sean. I also added a note that he is your son on the greenpants entry. Maybe only the Moderators (Hall Monitors) can edit. All I did was go to the "Actions" prompt on the DIStag screen and chose "edit". That brought up your info and I added Sean that way. Do you plan on playing tag as a family or will Sean be on his own?
