Well, this pic was taken in Okinawa. Doesn't it look a little like the pic of Point Lobos. Okinawa was a tropical paradise!

Hi Jeff! Compared with this morning I'm feeling pretty good, thanks for asking. :goodvibes

Paige - your pictures are beautiful! :cloud9:

I bet I just ruined it for you Paige... sorry.

I was updating the shrubbery this time...d'oh!

How's Emily doing today?

Emily's fine, thanks. She has a case of teenage-girl-itis!

How are you?

And you didn't ruin anything. I would much prefer having someone else posting. :)
Paige,

We drink the tap water all the time on the ship and don't have any problems. The only bottled water we'll need is for going ashore.

We plan on taking some onboard the first day and then a little more when we get to Key West. We only need it on GC and Coz.

Jeff

I think we will do the same.

I'm doing way better than this morning, thanks! I'm about ready to head to bed...didn't get a lot of sleep last night what with those concrete milkshakes I was supposed to drink.

Ahhhh...hormones (sorry men-cruisers!) ... and just think, she's only got another 40 or 50 years of this! :lmao:

Brenda - glad to hear you're feeling better. Here's some dust stuff for you! pixiedust: Hope the test results are nothing but good news for you!

Linda - I've tried emailing you twice now, and no luck. It keeps bouncing back to me. Wonder what the problem is. :confused3

Paige - you sound all comfy cozy this evening. Yum brownies. The gooey-er the better I think!

Anyone here have early seating confirmed? I can't remember. We're trying for the earliest early seating, APL, as we want to be in Lumiere's for formal night, and PC for Pirates night.

Jeff - good for you on your pre-cruise hotel stay. The price sounds good. I didn't know they had water park stuff there.

OK, DH was looking over my shoulder and saw the stuff about the shuttle launch. Now he's all excited! Of course, he knows this will probably change, but he was off and running with his thoughts about seeing the shuttle take off from our port side cabin. Then he said the Carnival ship will probably be in our way and block the view of the actual launch if we're still in port! He's so funny! I won't tell you what he said to do with the Carnival ship! :rolleyes1

Good night! DH needs to use the computer, and it's just too much work to turn one of the other computers on! :lmao:

Yes, Karen, Grand Cayman is where they do the pirate ship thingy. I was looking on recent navigators to see what time the excursion meets. They seem to meet at 8:15 and 10:00 am. We are going to book this excursion but I haven't talked to Rob yet to see when he wants to do it (when I tell him when he wants to do it-:lmao: ). Maybe we'll be on the same excursion! FREE RUM PUNCH!!

Sounds great:banana: ...I do the same.... I tell Neil i've booked it and he just shrugs and says ok. He's so easy going...as long as he doesnt have to do the research or spend hours on the internet he'll usually fall in with what I suggest. the free rum punch will also help persuade him:lmao:

We are planning on doing the Pirate Encounter at 8:15 and then the Island Tour at 11:30. Hoping we have at least an hour or more for some beach time afterwards.

Oooohhh....see, I want more time on the beach, but I want to do Hell! - Could I do this on its own in a cab after the early pirate ship and then still have time on that lovely beach you showed me in the photo, or is it totally opposite sides of the island? I'm sooo not bothered about the turtles..white sand and turquoise seas seem much more appealing:cool1:

Cheryl staying at the port may well the the prudent thing to do as Jeff said earlier the shuttle is due to launch that day the 20th so the roads around the port will or would be mental.....

So is everybody booking a hotel at the port? I have already booked the night in Florida and paid, but now I'm panicking incase the road is gridlocked. We intend to be at the port by 10amish, so leaving Orlando about 8-8.30am,...does this sound about right?

Hello everyone......

Just checking in... thanks for all the good wishes. It was an unpleasant morning but the worst of it wore off by lunch time. I was very unproductive today and treated myself to a spa manicure after I fled the employer this afternoon.

Test results due back on Monday.

Well, that and I have a secret "crush" on AFEG...except now I guess it's not so secret. :lmao:

Fingers crossed for Monday Brenda, glad you're feeling ok now:hug:

Do y'all take beer onboard or just water?

No room for water - too much beer and wine to squeeze into the cooler;)

Georgous piccies...I love photos

Hi folks....I have a hangover....I couldnt multiquote all 4 pages in one go today so I did them bit by bit.

The theatre show we went to see last night was soooooooo funny....I spent the whole 2 1/2 hours crying with laughter. It was called "Mums the word" and was basically 5 woman on stage telling tales about bringing up children and the crazy things we do as mums to keep ourselves sane etc.

Off to the shops....see you all later...have a great day everybody

Morning everyone! :surfweb: Just popping in to say hi. I am way way behind . Just wanted to welcome Jeff back to the KK and good luck with your test results Brenda. Being a girl stinks! Men, be glad you have nose hairs to worry about and not wings! I hope everyone else is doing well.

I got our pre-cruise plans squared away. I didn't realize that when you book air with the cruise that the transfer prices are included in the air dollar amount on the itin. But if you cancel out the air then the transfer prices are itemized onto their own line. DUH! It was very confusing because I thought the exact amount of airfare and air taxes should be the amount deducted from our cruise cost. I thought the transfers had been their own line item, not mixed in with the air. Learn something new every day I guess. But then this possible shuttle launch has thrown a wrench in our plans! We are booked at the airport Hyatt Friday night. Our flight doesn't get in until 10pm. So we'd get to the port faster Saturday if we walked??? We're also getting a day room on the return home as our flight doesn't leave until 4pm. Does anyone know when the buses start running from the ship back to the airport?

We applied for DH's and kids passports last Saturday. One less thing to do. Now I'm going to attempt to catch up on this thread!

Yikes!!! I'm worried too now... we were planning on leaving All Star movies about 9ish.... We got to the port as it opened last time... which was great fun, however we " hung around" for a couple of hours at least, waiting to board. Which we would prefer to cut down on a bit, this time. Mind you we have to find AVIS car rental to drop car and take shuttle... so that will take more time ( last time for the 4 nighter, we parked the hire car in the parking lot) 7 nights is WAY to EXPENSIVE to pay for hire car and parking.

Wow ! if I was a tag fairy, I would quote that !!!! thats the best thing and most accurate thing typed on here for ages !!! and its funny too ;) :rotfl:
