OMG, just heard on the news about the madman that shot dead all those kids on a campus in Virginia. When will all this senseless killing end??

for all those families that have been affected.

1.30pm GMT and I think he's been shot dead.

Details are still sketchy, but apparently the shooting started about 7AM this morning in a dormitory where the person in question killed at least one woman.

Then supposedly it was almost two more hours before he showed up in an academic building and really went on a spree.

He has been killed but that's all we really know for sure right now.

Last count has more than 30 dead... just terrible.

Hubby was just reading the news and told me a bit about it....I told him to stop...I didn't want to know any more What is wrong with people??? How could you take a life??

I am having a hard time with the fact that we may have to put down one of our cats...I just don't understand how someone could just go around shooting people??? If you want to take your own life...go ahead, I have no problems...but these people are husbands and wives and children and brothers and sisters...of someone!

We are staying at Pop Century before and after. We are not DVC members, so we take the cheap way out. We feel we are not in our room very much the night before or after so we prefer to spend our money on the cruise!!!!!
We love to vacation and try to get the best deals so we can go more often and squeeze the life out of every moment of our vacation!!!!!

we are with you. over the years we have stayed at the contemporary, caribbean,port orleans, the all stars, and pop century. we enjoyed all of them but were never at the hotel much so we take the cheap way out nowadays. same with the cruise. thats why we book inside stateroom. we are not in there much. usually out partying with walt and di.
although i did buy a dvc club hat on ebay a while back. think we will get special treatment if i wear the hat and pretend to be a dvc owner. ha ha

If you are staying OFF site, you can book 180 days before your desired ADR.

If you are staying ON site, you can book 180 + 10, which means you can start booking from 180 days before your check in date and up to 10 days from that date for any restaurant.

Clear as mud? (I can explain this better if you need me to!)

As for MK and MNSSHP, the dates are not official yet but looking at the MK hours, the MNSSHP dates SHOULD be :

4, 5, 8, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31

For the MNSSHP's that fall on Thursdays (4, 11, 18, 25) the Extra Magic Hour is in the MORNING only.

Don't forget the Magical Beginnings at the MK:

LITTLE ONES MAGIC HOUR (Magical Beginnings)

Starting on 8/26/07 thru 10/28/07, guests staying at a WDW resort, Swan/Dolphin and the Hilton in the WDW Resort will be able to enjoy select attractions in Fantasyland one hour prior to the opening time for the Magic Kingdom.

For your specialty fireworks cruise, you can book 90 days in advance.

SO if you want your cruise on
October 16th, call July 18th
October 17th, call July 19th
October 18th, call July 20th

If you REALLY want this cruise, you will need to call Call 407-WDW-PLAY at 7am EST as they book REALLY fast.

Good luck! I hope you get it!! If you book for the 17th we may be able to join you, (if you have room of course!) but I'm not sure that Brenda and Jason can do the 17th as it's Brenda's bday. But that would be cool to ALL be there on the 17th as it's B's birthday and our wedding anniversary!

It's sad that the shooter had about a 2 hour time span from the dormitory to the engineering hall and still did not change their mind, direction, whatever. Plus there is the question why police weren't dispatched to the dormitory. Hearing the cell phone footage was very chilling. It'll never make sense.

The first time Chuck wore it was at DTD immediately after the cruise and someone yelled out "Welcome Home"!! Huh?? We had no idea why someone would say that. After we got home I found out that it's common to hear that when you are DVC members.

The entire situation is just sad. I saw just bits and pieces of the news today and haven't heard all of it (and probably never will).

How sad that we need to worry about not only foreign terrorists, but also terrorists that are your own countrymen.

Paige, have you tried to print these out yet? I've tried on both of my printers and the right sides are getting cut off.

The easiest way would be to go to landscape mode.

The other thing you could do is highlight the coupon you want, right-click in the highlighted area, select print, then click the button that says "selection" in the "page range" area of the print menu.

See how that works.

I think we have a boatfull, but I havent been back to the people on the dibb yet til I knew what date we were choosing. I'll let you know if theres room.

We were planning on doing MK and staying for wishes that night anyway so it might be a good choice
