We'll be there October 16 and 17. Plan on doing the Halloween thing if occurs on one of those 2 dates, which seems likely. Staying at the Fairfield Inn by the main gate. Cashed in hotel points.

I'll be there Oct 21-24 with my two sisters! We're staying at PPH and will be doing the parks on the 22 & 23rd, flying home on the 24th. We're flying in to see our favorite band (Hanson!) at House of Blues on the 21st. Since it's their first time to DLR, I don't think we're going to get hoppers - just going to devote a day to each park and probably spring for the WOC dessert party. I hope they love it as much as I do!

Going the 29-5 for our annual Disney trip. This will be the first Halloween trip for me, and the first time in general for half of our group. We plan on doing 3 days at Disney for now, and will explore some of the surrounding attractions.

I don't have dates for Disney but I'll be in the LA area from October 14th to 22nd and intend to at the very least attend a Mickey's Halloween Party. I'm also considering buying a day ticket for whichever park doesn't have the party for opening until we're allowed into the party park. Would like opinions on this.

Once again staying in an Airbnb but will be commuting from LA this time and probably just one day. A shame but better than nothing.

... YES, I managed to snag an oh-so elusive ticket to SDCC - first time I've been successful in years :worship:

Halloween is a fun time at Disney - based on our experience at WDW :duck:

That's what I understand as well. The date we went last year was slower to sell out, but by the time each date rolled around, I think they were all sold out, so it didn't make much of a difference for the actual party. I am considering going on a Saturday party date as the park will be busy during the day anyway, and especially toward the end of the party, rides last year became almost walk-ons, so that was a big bonus!

Working on booking dates wanting to stay at Grand Californian for 3-4 nights first week in October! Got the go ahead so let the planning fun begin! Haven't been on these boards since we did DW in 2014! Free dining is supposed to come out tomorrow in DW but I think we want a DL trip this year! Hoping for some DL fall room discounts here soon!!!

REALLY hoping they keep the Halloween party at Disneyland. I've hears the rumors about them moving it to DCA. In which case I'm pretty sure we wouldn't pay for the tickets for that.
