things may not be fully loaded yet. we are seeing that with Sept availability and last year Nov was just a nightmare for those trying to book. Hang in there!

I just cancelled a BOG reservation on the 3rd for 7:35, not sure if it's still open. I saw that Cinderella's Royal Table had finally opened up dinner times. I'll be there Oct 3-7.

We love breakfast at CRT, we always get the earliest and love watching it all come alive around us.

Granted I haven't been in 2 years but it's crazy. I thought it was just MK but it seems everywhere has hardly any availability. Staying off property definitely won't help

Where are you trying to get? The only thing I had a problem booking was Be Our Guest, and I got that after a few days of trying.

this is literally my first time doing this whole advanced dining thing and I wake up at 6:00 each day and am getting nothing or the worst times. I cannot score a BOG for dinner. I can get a BOG for breakfast at 8:35 which I guess I will take just to have the experience. I wanted a CRT breakfast but that doesn't look possible. I somehow stumbled on a lunch at 2:45 or a dinner at 8:05 and am deciding which one to attend but my daughter will almost be 3 and I don't know if that will be too late. My husband and friends think I am crazy for doing this all 6 months in advance....and in order to try (probably an exercise in futility) to get the BOG dinner and CRT breakfast I am going to have to keep checking for the next 6 months??? This is insane. Never again. Next time I will have to suck it up and stay on property and just deal with the cost just so I can book these restaurants that I want.

Keep checking. You are looking for 2 of the hardest to get ADRs. Even those of us staying on site don't find it easy to snag both of those ADRs.

I know...but even trying to get a breakfast at the other character restaurants...the Tusker House or Hollywood and Vine are not happening. I wonder if I picked a bad week even though I am pulling kids out of school so I thought the crowds would be else. Or maybe people are planning for the possibility of free dining and are hoarding reservations.

Where are you trying to get? The only thing I had a problem booking was Be Our Guest, and I got that after a few days of trying.

Be Our Guest of course, but for a party of 7 on a MNSSHP party night of course. But just looking at availability at MK overall and everything seemed more booked up than I've ever noticed before.

This is a bit off topic, but my sister is thinking the same thing

"What? We have to decide now where we want to eat in 6 months time?"

I don't feel very appreciated for doing the research and planning for the whole trip, they think I'm paranoid for planning so far in advance.

I think she'll thank me once we're there.

I always start planning my trips a year or so in advance we book with the 11 month window at BCV so i dont think there is anything wrong with doing it that far in advance . You want to make sure everything is perfect and goes well there is nothing wrong with that. I even figure out what restaurants we want ahead of time that way when the time comes to book a reservation we are set. I do leave a few days for eating where we just feel like it but the majority are all set especially the hardest ones to get.

I think there might be a glitch in their reservation system. I've never had trouble booking Liberty Tree during a trip, let alone half a year in advance. I think 2 days is the longest I've had to wait. I just spent half an hour trying to make a dinner reservation on my phone app and online and I didn't find a single opening between now and 10/10. I figured I might have to wait until some time next week at worst but the rest of the month comes up "No times available" as does every random weekday I tried through early October. I actually used my phone to make a voice call and the very nice customer service rep couldn't believe that there might be a problem. Gave me a [bogus] email to send my concerns. I went back to the website and filled out their "email" form. I've now wasted an hour and a half trying to make a reservation that's never been an issue before.

Something to note, I also saw Skipper's Canteen showing up as "No times available" because it sorts right above Liberty Tree Tavern in the results on the website. I asked about that and was told that they only take same-day reservations. But it gets the same error message as an ADR-enabled restaurant that's full. Maybe a few restaurants have been flipped to same-day and the customer service reps can't tell because they get the same error whether it's actually full or doesn't take advance reservations.

I also can't set up my fast passes on the phone. It works on the website but the website's design is terrible. You can only pick one at a time and have to go back around to pick the second and third ones. But you have to keep track of the times you picked because the system doesn't allow overlap, though it will present you with overlapping times.

/mumbles something about getting what you pay for in the IT department...
