October 2015 Schedule

We are going back in Oct

How soon will they have the parks schedule for October? I want to get some sort of plan going, for reservations, best night for the Halloween party etc.

Hi Kitty,

There is a sticky above about when park hours will be posted. Generally they are posted 6 months in advance, but of course they are subject to change up until the day you arrive...

I have the same issue. In late September/early October, is MNSSHP typically on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays?

MNSSHP's standard schedule is Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Thanks! Yeah we already booked for the first 2 weeks of Oct.

We will be there for both the Halloween party & the food wine festival

We were there this year during that time frame and original schedules were about 6 months out - I think a little sooner, because I had something to work from when making 180 day dining reservations. HOWEVER, I don't know if this year was odd or typical, but park hours and the days of EMH changed within about 6 weeks or so. Party days did not change, though.

There were lots of threads here of people complaining about the change to their plans. It bothered me and had I known the final schedule, I'd likely have planned a few different park days, however I stuck with my original plan and it was still lovely. Long-winded way of saying: plan, but be flexible! Expect changes from Disney.

Yeah I want to book BBB one night and have the party on a different day.

I just want to know the day of the party, the rest I can work around.

Yes, party days will not change (assuming the party schedules are the same as last year) but it is possible that park hours/extra magic hour schedules could change, especially at MK. If you're looking at Epcot remember that it's usually open until 10 on Fridays and Saturdays in October.

Also lots of folks here were quite vocal in their disappointment that the parks opened earlier than the original schedule on many days making pre park opening ADR's no longer "pre opening". This does happen as well

The dates are usually announced some time in April.....but as others have said above, you can tell by the park calendars which nights will have parties, and they are usually on the same nights of the week.
