I can see how MN would be less exciting than Anaheim. You never know, it could happen, someday! And to make my trip seem less exciting, its only one day, and DH can't join me until after 4pm, on a Saturday. So I might chicken out and wait for him - 4pm to midnight is still a good day at Disney.

You should still try out a solo tour for the first part of your day while you're waiting for your DH to join you! I tried a solo tour of MK at WDW late at night while the rest of my family turned in for the night, and loved it. It's a very different and fun experience!

So me and my DS are planning our third trip to DL and our first trip to DL MNSSHP. We live on the west coast up here in the NW, Seattle lite, but we are WDW Fans for the most part. We where planning on going In Nov to WDW for MVMCP but getting lay off put a damper on that, so we had to look for something closer, and our second love DL and MNSSHP drew us to going back to DL. We have done MNSSHP 2011 and 2010 at WDW love,love,love It. What are the differences? if any?. We are also going to Universal studios Horror nights for the first time, any comments good or bad on this. We are doing the day night package. We are also doing San deigo zoo and knot's berry farm, ya we have a full schedule, but that's how we do it. We are so excited that we will be able to continue our Father and son Disney trip, this will be year 11 he Is now 19 and I am still 12 at hart

I am thinking about it. Everyone attending the conference will be in mandatory meetings at the hotel all day and will then take a private shuttle to the parks, so DH could just meet me there! I think he'll be excited to leave his group and there are talks of dinner at Blue Bayou!

I would love to have him come with me in the morning and then use his ticket for FP all day, but I don't think that will work - he doesn't get his ticket until he boards the shuttle. Treating them like children, LOL. No flaming, please, I wouldn't really do this!

Good question...I assume they are some sort of special rate. He doesn't know much about the DL part of it, other than they are going and providing the ticket. Really helps out an obsessive planner like me, not!

We've had the privilege of APs for two years, and have had multiple trips where we never went to BB. Well, actually, went once when someone else was paying as a celebration. Then we went last time in June to join friends for their DD's birthday and we loved it. Now we can't wait to go back!

Blue Bayou Tip for anyone reading - WAIT for a waterside table. We got their 20 mins early and waited 30 mins past our PS time and got a great table. Our friends DD4 loved waving at the boats and took her the whole meal to realize we were actually inside!

Finally got our hotel!! We're staying at the Holiday Inn on Walnut. Got Mom's park ticket and our party tickets paid for. By next week we'll have all our costumes (already know what we want, but have to wait till payday to get the rest of them).

I just rebook and extended our stay Oct the 2nd to the 8th, book our room at the Days Inn at the park. We are very excited. Still can not nail down what my DS Is dressing up as?, or If he Is going to,he wanted to go as a zombie, but i think the mouse will not let him wear that?

I will be there with my BFF and her family Oct. 4-6 - our last trip before our APs expire. Not sure where we will be staying but I will have my LGMH on my Perry bag and BFF and I will be at MHP on the 5th as Red and Belle from OUAT!!!!! Can't wait to see everyone!

We will be there! October 19 - 23!!! Celebrating DH's 35th birthday!

It is our first time back to the California parks in 5 years and we are super excited! Never been in October, though.

HI!

Update for us! We had to shorten our trip by one day, so now we are arriving the morning or October 20th and flying home the evening of the 23rd.

BUT!!!! We will be staying onsite at the Disneyland Hotel!! This is a change - we were already booked at the Carousel Inn & Suites and then some friends offered us a deal we couldn't refuse, so we get to stay onsite for way less than rack rate. YAY!!!

We have lunch reservations at the Blue Bayou on the 21st to celebrate DH's birthday. We also have lunch reservations at Carthay Circle on the 22nd so that we can get WoC seating.

I'm so excited that the trip is less than 5 weeks away!

3 sisters, stepmom, grandma and my uncle.
My grandma and uncle haven't been since I was four so I am SO excited to take them and show them everything I know sinceI go so often.
Also my uncle has Down-syndrome so I am so excited to take him around!! He is going to LOVE it!!

We are staying at DLH and also going to the party!

I was surprised to see Oct 5 Halloween Party has sold out. Is this typical? At WDW, usually only Halloween and maybe the day before sell out. Does DL sell less tickets or could it be because it's the last discounted Friday?

I would imagine it is sold out because it is the beginning of Gay Days weekend. It will be a busy weekend, so it does not surprise me that it is sold out.
