So excited! Our first trip to Disneyland for the family! We are going at the end of October. My kids have been to Disney World over 20 times so this trip is going to be a new experience. Let the planning begin! If anyone has some good ideas that would be great! My girls will be 12 and 10 when we go. Thanks

Go to Disney 365 in DTD, they have rock star makeovers. It's similar to the Bibbity Boutique but marketed for the tween girls. It's also less expensive than the Boutique and IMO the hairdo's look better.


We've finally got our dates for October!! We will be there the 12-15 for my birthday!! My mom and her bff will be there, too. She hasn't been in over 15 years. I was trying to get an idea of what she wanted to do. She doesn't quite get that there is some planning invovled cause back in her day you could play everything by ear.

Thanks to a tip from someone, I got a rate at BWPPI that is $20 less per night than my rate at PVI, so I've moved over there. I figure for 3 nights I find much better ways to use $60 at Disneyland.

New guy to these forums...My wife and I are annual passholders in Orlando. This year we upgraded to the Premier Pass and will be visiting Disneyland with my 2 and a half year old and my in-laws October 2-9 using DVC points at Disney's Grand Californian. We are so excited! We visited Disneyland last year in April, but that was a short one day trip and our first time at the park. As former cast members at WDW it was so cool to see the original park and we can't wait to go back and experience staying on property out west! It's been great reading these boards and collecting information and I look forward to interacting a lot more this summer as we count down the days to our trip!

We're gonna be there from 9/30-10/5 at Ramanda Maingate. Pretty excited as we've done WDW the past two times, and we miss Disneyland a lot! (Although the speculation that Indiana Jones will be closed during that time has my heart broken!) I'm also a tad bit nervous about crowd levels still being high with the opening of Cars Land.
I can't wait until I can start making breakfast reservations! We would love to do the halloween party, but coming form the central timezone is gonna make it hard for my kids to stay away through the party!

My DD will be 6 for our trip and trying to keep it a secret! How are you going to tell her? I'm debating whether to tell her on the drive, the day before or when we get there!(Telling her we're going to san diego, she has no idea Mickey lives nearby)

We surprised our daughter for her 7th birthday when they had the 'get in free on your birthday' a couple of years ago. It was sooooo much fun. We picked her up early from school (at lunch), put her in the car and started driving. She couldn't figure out where we were headed. Finally 1/2 way down I5 (we are near San Francisco) I pulled out some Mickey Ears and she got really excited. It was soooo hard to keep a secret, but so much fun to surprise her!

We just got back from a wonderful week at Disneyland!! We are going in Oct for Halloween party! We have never done this before and we are excited There are going to be 12 of us going. Not confirmed, but speculated and rumored to be! I'm sooooo hoping it turns out to be incorrect, but preparing myself just in case! It is by far my favorite (And the hubs!) favorite ride! My DD14 and I have been to WDW and the MNSSHP but never to DLR during Halloween. We will be bringing DGrandma, DNephew and my DD's best friend and her mother. We're on a budget so we'll be staying at the Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites. I bought our tickets just before prices rose, thank you to the DISBoards :good vibes

We'll be there from October 9th through the 14th. I can't wait to see the new Cars Land. My nephew is autistic and loves Disney but especially Pixar and he is going to love the Radiator Springs Racers.

We're flying in on October 13th and then going to San Diego on the 20th!

It will be our third visit to Disneyland and we're quite happy that we bought our tickets in advance with the now upgrade price!
