Just paid for our trip Oct 14-21! So excited! We just went in Dec. but we are surprising our 13 year old for her birthday! (She thinks we are going back in Dec. but at her party we ate telling her we are leaving in 5 hours!! I'm very excited to see her reaction! We have dinner reservations at the Castle for her actual birthday!
We are staying at POP for the first time. I'm nervous about the smaller room, but heard good things about the resort. We've never stayed at a value resort before.
Any suggestions on other ways to make the week extra special for her would be appreciated.

We're going on our first family trip to the world 10/8-10/14. The kids have no idea We'll be staying at POR in a royal room. MNSSHP, BBB, and Pirate's League all booked for 10/11. I can't wait!!! All paid off with a 30% room only pincode!

I paid off our trip last week for Oct. 17-22 and we are staying at POP too!

This will be our third trip to WDW (and POP) in 4 years!!!

I completely understand about the spending money. Fortunately, there won't be many extras to buy this go round, since we've done those before and since we have the dining plan. So pretty much everything is paid for. Hopefully we won't need THAT much extra $$$.

We might see you there! We are in a Royal Room at POR for our Disneymoon Oct. 8-15th. Yippe! I can't wait til it's us taking our kids there. I will always remember my family's first trip. We stayed at POR then too, although it was called Dixie Landings back in '93.
