Thanks Terri & k9muttlover. Maybe there's hope if a public room only comes out next week. I never get pins

We are going 20-24. I haven't seen anything for those dates yet. The 23rd is covered in FD, but that doesn't do us a lot of good. I am hoping for a room only discount. I am tempted to get an AP, just to get a discount or switch resorts. I would love the pin that is floating around, but I can't seem to get it. I have saved tripped, ordered CDs, DH signed up, nothing.

The AP room only isn't blacked out. GP probably wont be blacked out either. Though I wouldn't necessarily expect availability for the discounts at the Epcot resorts that week. Elsewhere might be ok though.

For my dates 10/19-25 there is no availability at the MK resorts either other than at WL.

It is going to be slim pickins if they do release a GP for that week at least at the Deluxe Resorts

Did you read that thread today about not getting PINs if you're already booked. It was interesting.

We're going the same dates. The PINs i've seen are less than the AP discount. I'm holding out for a GP discount in the next week -- hopefully the same as the AP.

I have read that before. I was hoping that I would be the exception. Fingers crossed that the GP discount comes and it works for our dates.

I think they all went over to the Room Only Discount Code thread. I'm hoping for anything at this point. I know hubby won't allow us to stay onsite for only 25% off the room (we're saving way more than that if we stay off-site), but I'm hoping for a last minute PIN code for free dining my entire stay (like some people got back in May and June).

I am going to try and work on him if the GP codes for % off come out. Maybe I can convince him to do a split stay. It is breaking my heart that we won't be on property this trip. I know the suites are more room, but I really wanted to be at POR.

Thanks, SJS. At this point, I'm kinda hoping it does, because then I can tell hubby: "we're staying on-site". But....then I think about how much room the suite has and how much money I can save over POR. ARRGGGGHHHH!!!!!

There's just so much to stress about and so little time.

What a different Wednesday morning! I was fortunate to get Free Dining for our trip (Have never had Free Dining or any significant discount). I have my fingers crossed for everyone waiting on a significant room only discount.
Just 11 weeks to go!!!!!

I'm still here too. Hoping for gp discount of 40% off the room so I can upgrade from pool view bb to savannah view bb at all or maybe switch to a 1 bedroom villa at ssr. On second thought, that's a tough choice. Maybe I don't need a pin to come out so I won't have to decide. good luck to everyone waiting...

We've locked in our free dining discount (had to do a split stay to accommodate our Oct 22nd arrival) but we are keenly watching out for a significate room-only discount. We are contemplating staying at AKL and a big resort discount would push us over the edge.

I built a bunch of trips yesterday and searches on just rack rates on resorts there is not hardly anything out there at all

Ordered the maps yesterday in hopes of a pin. Also changed my spam settings from automatic delete to tag. Called Disney but no pins. Trying to wait patiently for the GP discount to be announced.
