I have a midsize thru alamo reserved from 9/27-10/6 for $100 out the door. it seems to almost drop by about $5 daily

Big drop for an Alamo midside SUV for 9/30-10/8. Using an ID code and coupon through Visa, I got it for $200. Cars rates are even lower.

Great rates - can you please share the codes you used? Thanks.

DId you book thru priceline for this year yet? If so what rate did you get if you don't mind me asking

Just booked for 11/26-12/3 I got $20/day total $212 (started at $17). Have not used priceline before so wondering if there is anything I need to know at pickup - do they try to bump up the price? What about if you're not right on time that you specified for pick-up? Any experience you have w/Priceline I'd appreciate hearing

You will sign the paperwork, get the keys and then head to parking deck. Most will ask if you want the added insurance and gas options, but no big deal if you decline.

The reservation is paid for, so they should hold vehicle for you if your flight is late. Perhaps consider giving the rental company a heads up if you will be delayed.

We got a mid-size and I was not finding anything under $350+ for our dates, (even with every code and coupon I tried) even though 3 weeks ago I found a mid-size for $12.95 a day - should have reserved it at the time!

You can always try the old stand by code 430710 for Alamo. It is a Walmart general public code and gives you a free extra driver.

I just did the codes 7014136/ ADA2359FDF Got a rate of 136.09 for a full size Sept 30th- Oct 8th. The code is for American Airlines but Im flying Southwest but someone said Alamo had the same code and I saw it but it's coming up under American Airlines still.... hmmmm, I wonder why???

My rate dropped another $18 this morning (Oct 6-13 plus 2 hrs, $171 for full size inc taxes). Not much but still hoping for those $100ish rates others have seen. Definitely seems that weekend checking is not good for rates. With rates continuing to drop makes it easier to wait until a week or 2 before trip.

(Still using Insiders code and AA Advantage code)
